Well, I didn't think it had happened _recently_. I was just surprised to hear that it had actually happened at all. I mean, you know, it's always a vague POSSIBILITY that someone in the thing you're a fan of might actually come by a fansite, but it doesn't actually happen all that often...

Anyway. I'll shut up now. :P

You're not wrong.. it's just none of us really knew/ know what to make of that cartoon. Some people think it's a slam, and some don't know what to make of it. It's not about being right or wrong. We're all adults.. we can discuss our opinions here

Same here. I want the whole series on DVD so badly.

About the comic, I love the fact that the cartoonist drew "pee-stained TRON" () riding on the outside of the lightcycle.

And as for celebrities on TRON-Sector, I think DaveTRON told us earlier that Steve Lisberger checks out the forums often.

There aren't that many episodes on DVD right now, but what I did was watch all of the first three seasons on YouTube, then I bought the fourth season on DVD (fortunately I have a multi-region player). If the first three seasons were on DVD, I'd buy them.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Yeah. I just recently got around to checking out "Reboot"...which is pretty slow (I mean, me, not the show's pacing) considering it was _years_ ago that people were first reccommending it to me. And by "reccommending", I mean more like:

--I mention how much I like TRON on a messageboard somewhere.
--Person B starts talking about Reboot in conversational "of _course_ you already know the main characters and plot points" type tones, and asks me something like who my favourite character is, maybe.
--I'm like, "Um, well...I...have never seen that show."
Person B: You haven't seen "Reboot"? You're that big a fan of "Tron" and YOU haven't seen "REBOOT"???!!!

Seriously, I got that like...lots of places I went, for a while... :P

And I also just recently found copies of "Automan"--which nobody had been reccommending to me but which I had been curious about since reading an old magazine article about it back in 1992 (the article itself was from '84) and so that's why you'll see me sometimes referring to _both_ shows in "I just saw this recently, this is new and exciting to me" terms. Because, well, they are.

Hey, better late than never! :P

Oh, wait, _what_ topic were we on again? Oh, yeah. Starlog Magazine. Well, they _used_ to be cool...my mom has a whole lot of retro issues of it and there is some neat (and in some cases obscure) stuff in there...I still like the magazine in general 'cos...I kinda grew up with them always in the house. As one of my main "nerd-info resources", before I got on the 'net. So, yeah.
(And you know, I noticed the riding on the _outside_ of the lightcycle too...but I guess if they hadn't done that we wouldn't be able to see his expression or that there's a program _in_ there at all. So...kinda necessary for it to look "right"--for the joke, anyway.)

So to slam Tron when he doesn't even know it properly and can't get his facts straight (Tron is blue, not yellow, and Light Cycles going backwards?) means the joke is on the artist and Starlog.

I completely agree. People who are going to slam should at least research it to know what they are putting down (like that imbecile on "I Love the 80's").on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion
