Speaking of synthpop and new wave, I recently bought a microKORG synthesiser. And today I recorded my first full song with it - a cover of Steppin' Out by Joe Jackson. |
I LOL'd when I saw your post, because not a month ago, I received my own microKORG! First, our birthday's are close together and now we just happen to buy the same synthesizer in a month's span... This is getting freaky now. :O

Separated at birth?
They're great little things, aren't they? Although now I need to treat myself to a new sound card to do it justice.
I bought mine New Year's Eve. I'm still getting used to it and the editor and librarian, but I'd say it's worth every penny! Awesome analogue sounds (I was originally going to buy an analogue synth from eBay, but I splashed out and bought the microKORG new, instead).

I absolutely love my microKORG. I got mine on the 18th of December after what seemed like an eternity of waiting! I love the easy-to-use onboard Vocoder, as I always had to have trouble with FL Studio's own Vocoder plug-in, so it was nice to change to that.
I originally wanted a Alesis Micron but after finding out it doesn't have as many funky sounds as I wanted, I found out about the microKORG and the rest is history!
Which analog synth did you originally wanted? Analog synths can get pretty expensive! Have you seen the Moog Little Phaty? That thing looks (and sounds) so cool!order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I was originally going to get an ARP Axxe. My brother then showed me the microKORG in his KORG magazine, and after a bit of researching on the internet, I forced my dad to take me to Electro Music in Doncaster (great music shop - sells pretty much everything!) where I bought it immediately (walked in the shop, went upstairs, picked up a microKORG, walked downstairs, paid, walked out, went home. I don't think we were even in there for two minutes )!
I actually cheated a bit when I recorded Steppin' Out - I'm not a very good pianist (that is to say, I'm crap ), so I transcribed the whole song in a MIDI program, then just played the MIDI instruments through my KORG one-at-a-time and recorded them, occasionally changing volume and modulation. The piano parts and drums were done on my old keyboard, which is knocking on about 6/7 years now. Then I just laid down some rushed guitar which just about resembles the vocal line ('cos no way was I going to sing on it ).

Ok, Megabyte, the whole saskua situation is this:
Saskua insults TRON. We insult him. He insults us. Staff catches on. All his future posts are deleted. I'm still arguing via messages.
