SPACE INVADERS
After you lose (can't win  ), look at 90 on the high score list. That's me!

That recreation is ok, but not quite accurate to the original. The sounds for shooting at and hitting enemies seem to be reversed. The invaders don't properly increment faster as they are eliminated either.
It's kind of cool, but not so accurate.
The original Space Invaders ROCKED!

I tried making it in GameMaker once, but then I gave up and shortly after I gave up on GameMaker also when I realised that I didn't like making games.
I've only played the real Space Invaders once, on a sitdown cabinet in a pub in Wales about 6/7 years ago. I can't remember much, other than playing two player, me not being very good, but still thinking that it was totally awesome!

I actually quite playing on the first level since the sound was off. Granted I couldn't even make something that nice but it simply drove me nuts.

Well today I finally played the real Spce Invaders. AND IT IS HARD! I realized that we had a Burbank arcade. THey have everything you can think of, except Tron.
