*Kaff, cough*
Whew, chalk dust is rough. Okay, sat down just a while ago at the monolith, my drawing desk, and did a quick thrity minute release. Nothing special, just a sloppy piece that was Tron is all.
I took the classified section of todays newpaper and used greyscale chalk for the whole drawing, except the circuits, which is blue chalk. I only spent thirty minutes on the image. Started out with a red chalk outline. Came out kinda sloppy, but I'm not going for neatness with this one.
Hmmm. Haven't a clue what to do with this drawing now. It's on newspaper, which means it wont last. Don't want to throw it away. Might as well spray it with fixative so it doesn't smear.
Now excuse me while I clean up all the chalk mess on my desk and floor. Heh.
Feels great to scratch that drawing itch.

Wow, cool! That only took you thirty minutes? If I tried to do something like that, it'd take me hours, it'd be nowhere near as good, and I'd probably give up halfway.

Yeah, just thrity minutes. Lately I've been trying to speed myself up a bit. On campus eveyone already tells me I already draw fast enough, but personaly I feel slow.
There are alot of things I don't like about the image. The face is too plain, his nose looks flat, eyes look glazed over, hand holding the disc is awful, stance wise Tron looks like he's about to bite the disc like a sub sandwich, and the rushed circuits don't show up well enough. Really wish I could of gained a better three dimensional feel with the form using the light and dark tones.
Course this is why I did this on newspaper. Just cutting loose and not worrying toomuch about the end result.
Hmmm. Want to do a Tank next like this, kinda a birds eye view. Ideas, ideas, ideas.

Try WORM'S eye view and have a tank barreling down on it with extreme dynamic perspective?  Hm....

Sketch I dont know what you're talking about I think that drawing was good for making it in chalk I mean I draw like crap you should see my drawings
