20,000 Leauges

*Flops onto the deck like a wet trout out of water*

I'm grining from ear to ear right now. Got the special edition 20,000 Leauges Under The Sea dvd while at Best Buy the other day! Oh man, childhood memories. When the clerk showed me where the movie was, he even started talking about the film and remembered the ride. Had to break the news to the poor lad about the ride no longer being at the parks. He didn't take it well. I remember the ride when I was a wee trout.

Got the film playing right now. Sounds great on the surround sound. Film looks great too. The Disney Nautilus will always be the ultimate Nautilus design. Every set, every model, every beautiful detail... this is a true marvel of film. Can't wait to check out all the extras the dvd has to sport.

This is a movie that should be a requirement in childhood viewing.

I feel like singing...

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
'Bout the flappin' fish and the girls I've loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it's all true
I swear by my tattoo

Sorry, this is one happy fish right now.

*flops off the deck and back into the ocean*

Oh yeah, awesome movie.

And Disney's Nautilus is the ultimate Nautilus as far as I'm concerned.

For other marvelous Disney special effects watch Forbidden Planet. It was Disney animators who rendered the Id Monster in the disintegrator beams. Super-cool stuff!abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I bought the 20,000 Leagues DVD set the first day it was available and have nothing but glowing remarks for it!

What a great DVD! Excellent sound and picture quality, especially for a film its age!

And let's not forget the alternate footage of the squid fight where it took place in the daytime!

Yes, it looks terrible, but thank God it did because those terrible dailies made Walt Disney say "Let's get you more money to make this scene as great as it can be!"

And the man who created that squid went on to create Bruce for Jaws!

I can't recommend this set enough!

I've always wanted the soundtrack, and after having read your post I got the bug to get it now so I just ordered it off of Amazon, along with a couple of other CD's I've been meaning to pick up: the soundtrack to The Rocketeer, and Quantum Rage "Songs for Deathmatch."

But Forbidden Planet is the all-time classic sci-fi movie, I can't watch it enough.

Did you know that Gene Roddenberry admitted he borrowed heavily from Forbidden Planet when creating Star Trek? It's easy to see once you've watched the movie; the movie was more or less the prototype for the show.

In fact, there's a connection between Forbidden Planet and Star Trek that I've wondered about recently. At the beginning of the movie, Cmdr. Adams asks when they'll get a DC fix-by "DC" I think they mean deceleration-and when the navigator responds with a time, he gives it in military time-17:01. Now, what does that number mean to Star Trek? Interesting, eh?where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

It's funny, talking about Forbiddeon Planet movie, I've had it and other films such as Earth Vs The Flying Saucers playing as back ground noise for the past few days as I've been constructing a retro movie themed theater book for Book Arts. Since the book is showing a 3D movie, the last page has a nifty pop up style giant robot stomping through the streets while people run for their lives ending. These films have helped me to get into the old 50s retro movie mood. Add the Mars Attacks soundtrack for all out cheesy goodness and bizzar thought processing.

I browsed through all the wonderful production art for the film... DANG! After seeing all that beautiful work my eyes need to go smoke a cigarette.

I saw the sunset squid, thank goodness they redid that! It was awful! Excuse the pun, but that would of sunk the whole film if that was left in.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
