So....

Where are all the A.I. s programs that we've dreamed about? It is the 21st era and we should have em by now.

This is a thread to post all of your A.I. findings.

BTW: I hate Ultra Hal.....

The future will change the rich Geek home forever.

"Mom, Dad." says the rich Geek when his parents visit for ThanksGiving. "I want to introduce my new wife. Say 'Hello', TW47613-4."

"bleep, bleep, HELLO MOM AND DAD, bleep." says Mrs TW47613-4 Smith.

"TW47613-4, I love you." the rich Geek says with tears in his eyes.

I recall seeing that once on TV too. I actually hear her speak as well. At first I thought that it was someone from Japan video conferencing. But no, she was indeed an android. I was quite impressed! ^^

A.I. is cool... that female android looks cool.
Maybe soon we can have androids clean out houses for us.
That would be cool... i hate cleaning the house etc.

I would love to have an R2 unit or something like the smart-ass droid from 'Knights of the Old Republic' to clean my house and help me work on my mustaing and pick-up truck.

BUT....

Droids should look like machines not plastard with human skin. I find that wrong.

But A.I. in computers is something different. I once read an artical from Windows mag. back in late 1997 where they were talking about an OS with a built in A.I.. The artical was titled "Robot 101"

Imagine this:

You walk into your computer room and turn on your PC waiting for Windows to load up. Once it does, there is a polygon A.I. that greets you and can see you through your computer's cam. It talks to you like a normal person would and you respond via microphone. You can change the apperance to look and sound like anyone (if your a good at modding). Imagine a vitural Yori or MCP that you can engage a conversation with or play UT2K4 with. That would rock.

One problem... We might never see this in our life time, which would suck. But I could be wrong.
