That sounds interesting because I used to play D&D in the old days, but recently I checked out World of Warcraft's starter edition for free and was amazed by the sheer scale and scope of the game online.

It's a shame that Disney and Blizzard has'nt gotten the idea of doing a TRON MMORG. Imagine going on the virtual grid and being any program we want to be and get involved in Disc Wars with players or ride bikes anywhere. In a sense, live virtually there.

It can be done, but I don't think Disney is seeing far enough of this kind of potential. They better not put a tail between their legs growing a yellow spine that Paramount did with GIJoe: Retaliation. That news really disturbed me.

But anyway, Tron RPG or MMORG would rock.

Just wait until you discover the sheer scale and scope of obnoxious, immature and elitist players in WoW. I played the game for over 4 years from when it first came out and quit in disgust due to the 20+ year olds with the maturity of a spoiled 10 year old.

I don't doubt the unruliness of the players on WoW because I was curious about the MMO for a long time until now. As an artist and game designer, I wanted to see how it actually works online and learn what makes it so effective, or not.

So, yes, I'm not surprised about certain players who are going to give us a hard time, however it's all about common sense and dealing with the fools. But I think the most interesting thing about the game is the psycho-social aspects of it and meeting players 'virtually' there, almost as if you're zapped into the Grid .

I could hope that Tron fandom might be enough of a niche thing that it wouldnt attract the sort of douchebags some other things would (nor would it attract the same numbers, which would cut down on the likelihood of said douchebags). Hopefully it would be like many things around the fandom-- a few new people show up. Some are decent and real fans and stick around and continue. Some came by just for curiosity or a short-lived interest and are out of folks' hair relatively quickly. And since douchebags often fall into the latter category, one can hope they'd be gone soon, or that they might be shamed out of existence.

I could be wrong; I've never played RPGs, but based on what I've seen in various web communities, that seems to be how it works.
