We are an odd group arent we? Its been 20+ years since the first movie, more than a year since the second movie. What makes this handful of us still so intrigued by it? There were only a handlful of comics, a few flopped games. I mean, its not like its star trek, where the universe is so expansive and in depth. All we really have are 2 fantastic movies and an upcoming TV Show. Yet here we are, a small cult following. So I was just curious, what is it about Tron that makes you such an avid supporter?
For me, its the escapism of the entire thing. The Tron world is such an original idea, and everytime I hear the entrance music, it just puts me in a new world.

For some of us, like myself, we grew up on it. As I've stated before, one of my earliest childhood memories was going to the local video rental store and renting TRON on VHS, back when they came in the white vacuumformed plastic. Even back then, the movie was just amazing in both visual style and in story. To me, this film is my Star Wars (trust me, I've seen Star Wars, I grew up on the original trilogy, but nowadays I just don't like type of fantasy, whereas for TRON, I could watch 20 times in a row and never get tired of it). Not to mention that for both films, they leave off with a very hopeful feeling that I don't normally feel with any other film or television show.
That's just me, of course. I could very well be wrong in my opinion.

Well, in 1982 both Tron and Creepshow were released which created a direct link to a future zombie apocalypse.

Like I have said before.. I grew up in some back room... relaxing with my dad..
eating Alan's popcorn watching Tron and Time Bandits etc....
