I was watching TV tonight and there was an advert for Virgin travel company.
And they played the Outlands track from the soundtrack album. 
And it sounds like they played it in it's entirety.
I must say that the score for this film is much more popular then I released!

Yeah, I saw this last night and was quite surprised... then turned over the the Great Barrier Reef programme on BBC1 and they had one of the T:L R3conf1gur3d tracks playing as a bed over some aquatic footage too

Good to know. I thought maybe Disney might own at least partial rights to it as a soundtrack to their movie for their franchise that they commissioned.

It just doesn't seem to me like something DP would do-- do they regularly allow their music to be used on commercials and such? (unless they're banking on the success of the films and their other stuff hasn't been popular enough in the mainstream for it to be used as well, I don't know. But I guess Kanye West or someone did do some thing based on Harder Better Faster Stronger or something, right? I assume he would've needed permission to do that?)

Nice to see that Daft Punk is following in Ray Charles' footsteps. I guess that means, too, that Daft Punk owns all their publishing and master recordings as well?
