Yeah, seriously. I went to see Legacy with some friends of mine. Their review was vastly different from mine.

To sum their's up it was: "Holy S**T!! AMAZING special effects, it just LOOKS FANTASTIC, but the story was lacking."

I tend to hear that alot, there is a huge story here. We find out what happened to Flynn!!! We get to meet his son, his family. You get to visit Encom again and get brought up to speed with that they've been working on... CLU and how he was created this time around, The ISO's potential, there's just so much story maybe it's too much? I truly don't know. To give you an idea, someone I know once said to me: "Dude, I could put dog s**t on a stick, call it Tron and you'd love it." I said: "Yeah, probably true, wouldn't go QUITE that far, but yeah, I love everything TRON!"

Anyway, the original movie was a rather huge and profound part of my childhood. I was 9 when Tron came out and I remember my dad taking us to go see it and it just blew me away. I already was tinkering with writing programs (albeit in BASIC) and I for sure played games so the idea of programs running around intrigued me. The MCP also struck a chord with me as I was always wondering what AI was, how it worked, etc.

I'd be willing to go as far as to say, without Tron as an influence in my life, I'm not sure what I'd be doing right now. Ever since I can remember I've always had a facination with computers, specifically giving them instructions, Tron opened my eyes to a completely different world, one that sealed the deal and a code hacker, I will always be.

I feel very at home here, so many posts here all full of passion for Tron, it's awsome to see. Thank you everyone for sharing your home with me.

Thanks for posting DV8ER! I actually very much agree. I'm somewhat new to these forums, and a relatively new fan of TRON. Unfortunately the year of its release was a few years shy of my birthday; I actually saw it for the first time about eight years ago. I don't know why my family never showed it to me growing up, even as an adult it blew me away! The clean, futuristic angles, the use of light. Everything about it speaks to my style of art and way of interpreting things, as well as an intrigue with computers.

While I must say I will agree with others to some degree that it (and its successor) isn't quite as deep as it could have been, it is still a brilliant film, quite aesthetically moving - as much as any more modern film could be. And while people were laughing at Legacy, I actually thought it was handled very well; it transitioned seamlessly from the last film. Certainly the effects were awesome, but that is to be expected - it is TRON, after all. It's not just a "fun" flick for when you're bored; taken into context with the original, it sits nicely. It wasn't "trying" to be anything; it simply told the rest of the story, very cohesively.

Though the original TRON will always have a special place in my heart (as corny as that sounds), it really is a beautiful film.

And yes, I can relate to many of you - my friends and family find it odd or humorous that I love Tron so much. When Legacy came out I was really excited, and I'd asked one of my friends, "Hey, are you gonna see Legacy?" The reply: "What...? Oh, that, uh, yeah, you know, I totally forgot about that movie".

It's great to know others "get it" and understand. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion
