Greetings Programs
This is Hangman.EXE over from the LDSO boards. I have watched all the daily activity here and I was just curious how many of you in [this section] of the forums here [have ever[ or if you [still do] play the TRON 2.0 video game on PC?
I ask as I see alot of posting in these threads daily. But the PC game appears to only basically have me online trying to make matches anymore. If you dont play could you list reasons why. As there are those of us who still make maps who would like to see what if anything that we could do to bring your interest back to the game.
PLEASE, members in this section of this forum reply here an let us who still mod and make maps for TRON 2.0 know......are you still playing the game? at all? ever? If not, why?

I found a copy used, and I'm on my third play through. I also have the mind-screw spin-off comics. Really? Yes in fact I just installed the Killer App Mod..
and maps.. so i am ready to rock!!
And yes it's probably my fav game..
besides Doom..
but Tron will always win in my life!!

Are you talking Doom 3?
If so, how odd! Doom 3, and the Tron games are among my all time favorites. It's intersting to see how many things I have in common with people that hang out on this site!
I installed the KillerApp mod but am getting a warning about using the offical patch... I've been too lasy to correct the problem but will get to it once I have the thirst to play it again as I always get eventually.

If you've already successfully installed the mod and it's working, be aware that you'd have to uninstall the mod again first before patching. If you patch with the mod still installed, it will no longer work properly.
While I always advise people to use the Unofficial patch because of its many advantages, it's not as big a deal now as it used to be. Ever since I created the Complete Map Pack, installing all the custom maps no longer requires having the Unofficial patch.
So, long story short: if you're willing to uninstall the mod and install it again later, go ahead with the Unofficial patch. Otherwise, don't bother. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Fair enough. BTW: Thanks a ton for all the hard work on this mod. It's really nice to see people still behind the game, even if it's not the people who actually created the game.
It's too bad this game was dropped as it really is a great one, thank you again so much to you and the rest of the team working on it.

I finally got the mod and the all the maps installed..
I am ready to rock..
I go to the online games..
but see no players in there...
Do you guys play on certain dates??

I'd love to get back onto the grid some time. I finally got around to building a new PC to replace the outdated fossil of a PC that I'd been using since 2005, but I just haven't had much time to play anything due to life happening.
