Hey well I finally got a new PC and have now both windows and Linux on it..
so I installed Tron 2.0 again....
i went to multiplayer but didn't see anyone on.
Do we have to host our own games and them play from there?
let me know if anyone of you programs are up for some light cycle battles!
I'd like to see what you're made of! LOL
just kidding..but let's play!
Or is everyone on the new Tron Evolution now?
I should get that for PC.. going to get battle grids for Wii
it;s only 19 bucks now

Tron 2.0 is a Tron PC games made in 2003 I think??
I had it here for years.. used to play it all the time..
but then a couple of my computers crashed..
so then I got linux...
and now I am ready to play again..
since I also have windows on this computer..

YES I just got WIndows 7 64 Bit..
and Tron 2.0 plays fine!!
I was so happy.. because I was worried I might have to intall an older system..
which I still have Win 2000.. and XP ...
but yeah works fine on WIndows 7!

NO Killer App is not needed to play.
Just need Tron 2.0 CD rom disc.
Then you can play single play story mode.
Or multiplayer online Disc Battles..
or Light Cycle battles.. online!!

I may join, as well. It's been forever since I've played multiplayer.
Remember everyone, you need to have the 1.42 official or unofficial (recommended) patch to play online, and that installing any patches will render your saves useless, so patch up first!

I only run Killer App Mod servers on weekends. So if you don't want to use the Mod, you guys will have to run your own servers.
But if you want more Multiplayer characters, more Light Cycle colors, and enhanced Derez mode, then I'll point you to the Mod topic where you can download it:

I really suggest watching the video on that page, which shows how to install it.
If you have any trouble with the Mod, here's a help page:

There's an option to disable the mod to go back to plain old TRON 2.0 if you need to, as well. Start > All Programs > TRON 2.0 Killer App Mod > TRON 2.0 Killer App Mod Manager.

So how did the game go? When I read this thread I was thinking that if this starts to be a weekly thing maybe i'll pick up a copy of Tron 2.0, upgrade with the killer app mod and start playing as well. If it's just a one time event then i don't think I'll go through the trouble.
