Man this RP is rolling along really well!

And here's part two of the Spark/Azure piece.

Azure's return to wakefulness was slow, her functions rebooting one at a time. She was lying on a soft surface. A soft voice speaking soothingly, words too soft to make out. She was extremely weak, and couldn't figure out why. The last thing she remembered was the blue female running towards her, and the world exploding. Then pain and...Azure sat up with a gasp.

Spark noticed the ISO was rebooting, scooted her chair closer to the bed, and began a soothing murmur. She had no doubt that the reboot would be hard, and she was right. The ISO surged up out of the blankets, struggling to get up. "Easy!" Spark said, her hands on the ISO's shoulders, pushing the program back down. "Calm down. You're safe, it's alright. Relax. " The ISO stopped struggling, but looked around in an almost panicked way. "W-where am I?" she asked. "What happened?"

"You're in my home. You've had a hard reboot, let your systems settle," Spark replied. She held out the energy flask. "Here, drink this. I'm Spark, by the way. What's your name?" The ISO took the flask with shaking hands. She opened it and drank the energy slowly. "I'm Azure." Spark nodded and got to her feet. "Well, Azure, finish that, then try to get another rest cycle. I have a couple of errands to run, so I might not be here when you wake up. You're welcome to look around, but please don't leave. Or touch any of the screens. You can read the books of listen to some music if you like." Azure nodded slowly, and Spark left the room.

Spark stared at the baton in her hand for a moment, then leaped and activated her lightcycle. Her jet would get her to Flynn's safehouse faster, but she needed something to focus on, and an off-road light-cycle fit the bill. She hadn't bothered to rez in her helmet and the wind from the speed of her passing stung her eyes, whipping the tears away. The cycle purred beneath her and she couldn't help but think of the last time she had gone off-road with Clu and Flynn and Tron. Half a cycle before the world had fallen apart. She had won the last race. She pulled into the garage underneath the safehouse. The light-runner was in its usual spot, but Spark could only sense Flynn's presence in the rooms above. Quorra's not here, Spark thought. Good. As she left the elevator, she saw Flynn walking towards her.

Flynn had been on the balcony and had seen Spark's cycle approaching. He was startled by Spark's red eyes, and the tear tracks on her face. "Spark?"

"Yori's dead." Spark's voice was flat. Flynn's eyes went wide. "What happened?"

Spark glared at him for a moment, then stalked onto the balcony. Flynn followed her. Spark was staring at the sky where the portal used to shine. The younger User rubbed her arms, as if she were cold. "Yori died trying to rescue one of your miracles."

"An ISO?"

Spark nodded once. "She made me promise to take care of Azure." Spark said nothing about Yori's other request. She'd already told Flynn about Rinzler, and Flynn had done nothing. "I'm sorry Spark," Flynn said quietly.

Something in Spark snapped then, and she spun to face Flynn, anguish in her face. "With her dying breath she made me promise!" Her voice broke, and the strong façade Spark had put on for Azure fell away. Flynn put his arms around her and let her cry into his shoulder. When she finally cried herself out, she pulled away. "I really am sorry," Flynn said. "Is the ISO - Azure, you said? - is she alright?"

Spark shrugged. "I think so, but I can't be sure. Will you come and take a look at her?" Flynn nodded. "Yeah. We'll take the light runner. Just let me leave a note for Quorra."
