I had been following this, waiting to see if T:L won anything, then forgot about it. I looked up the winners today, and sadly, maybe not for everyone, Inception took home the bulk of the awards. However T:L won two awards, one for Production design. The other went to *drum roll* Jeff Bridges for Best Actor. I don't mind of course but I find it amusing since many people feel Jeff was just playing himself. I have to defend that because 1: Tron was out way before say, The Big Lebowski, but rather, it was the other way around. OR...yes, in many of his roles (not all), he was playing himself. 2: some scenes I loved because of the way he used his eyes to express his feelings. I love when actors play with their eyes, and no, not poking at them.

Anyway, I will always feel that both of my fave films Star Trek 2009 and Tron Legacy were screwed over by the lack of recognition for their musical tracks.

I remember every other negative review of T:L stating that Bridges was pretty much just playing "The Dude" in cyberspace. Apparently those reviewers forgot that Kevn Flynn came first, and that The Dude was a riff on Bridges just being himself, which was exactly what he brought to Flynn both then and now.
