Then that is one for the female programs' side. I wish we could have seen her actually fight.

I wish we could have too, that would have been awesome I never caught that as many times as I have seen it LoL Its also funny to me that the female program's name and look is similar to my character (Aerial) and also has a similar look to Quorra. Awesome

End of Line.

Flynn's shell history shows that he's a vi user.

The console output from the command "bin/LLLSDLaserControl -ok 1" when Sam executed it was:
  • Starting up ...
  • PSU online
  • HV online
  • Analog core memory ... OK!
  • Booting pattern recognition systems
  • Merging current data model
  • Starting laser emitter
  • Particle traps test OK!
  • Entangling laser with particle traps

Then the Aperture Clear? window pops up, to which Sam, of course, responds Yes.

The Encom soft keyboard has no Ctrl key, which is probably why Flynn opted for vi. (Emacs users, you know what I'm talkin' about.)

The thing I find the most interesting there is the reference to "analog core memory".

Based on that, I'm guessing at least some of the hardware in the arcade basement dates back to the original laser lab at Encom...abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

The panel directly below and to the left of the top panel of Jarvis's tronPad (the panel that shows the players picture) looks to be modeled after what you would see if you used a hex editor on a hard drive, minus the Hex readout portion (ie just showing the data portion).

In the scene where Flynn and Sam are on the Solar Sailer and Sam mentions that he is fixing up his dad's bike, here is Flynns bike:

Yep, and here it is outside the house, just so we can compare and verify that it is indeed the same bike (I'd speculated on this elsewhere):

http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=150516#top_display_media
(wish the picture wasn't so crappy and far away, but oh well. You get a better view if you watch carefully when the film is actually on)

And a hard-to-see shot of Flynn leaving on it:

Kat! Is it me or is the Hair style of the pic of Flynn on his bike different than what Flynn had earlier in the scene?

I love this thread. I have watched it so many times and have caught many of these details. But there are still some I miss. Keep it up.

For example Flynn's hair in that scene. I never really looked that close out the window to notice. But it does look different.

Another one from Kat's Flynn on Bike picture that I hadn't realized before (or forgot), There are old school Tron figures in the room, one couple recreates the famous Tron poster I/O image, so they must Tron and Yori:

Here is the larger image the smaller one was pulled from:
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=150567#top_display_media

Not sure if the other figures on the left/right are meant to represent a scene from the original or not. I'm guessing the one on the left is holding a disc to deflect an attack maybe. He's red so maybe he's suppose to be Sark. The one on the right kind of has Flynns cloth 'shirt' (or whatever that is called), so maybe that is Flynn. He kind of looks like he just finished with his diverting energy trick on the solar sailer based on his stance.

I noticed this on an image from an earlier post in this thread. In this image it is showing the explosion and Flynn/Samm elevator drop. The explosion and elevator indicate that this clip is moving forward in time.

However if you squint at the tiny figures within the image, it appears as if they are all going backwards.

I'll edit if I can find the link.

We never get to see the solid black vintage lightcycle on the grid. One can only guess that during the time these bikes were used one side was white wile the other side was black.

It does seem a bit fluffier in the back, doesn't it? Not quite so slicked down. Closer, I have to say, to real-age Flynn's hair, yes? Hrm. Anybody watch it again and watch the whole part?

Note, too, the "news" flashback scene. Looks to be not-CGI Bridges... is this footage from some old Bridges interview or something? (Kinda wish they'd just kept it all CGI for consistency, because it's noticeable, but oh well)

Yep, here's little blurry Tron over Sam's right shoulder:

Also, no pics to compare, but anybody notice that every time poor Alan goes over to a Flynn's place, they always feel the need to take their shirt off? It must get old after a while... "No, really, man, just leave it on this time. Trust me, the image of your nipples will be burned into my brain forever."

I thought that too, Kat. It does look like an old Jeff interview. I wonder what the magnets on the fridge say, besides the obvious Ducati ones, and Marvin.

LOL I took the shirt bit to be a nod to Flynn's little strip tease in Tron. As a female viewer of a film aimed at males, I'd say "Hush, Kat!" ;-)where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I'd actually wondered if it might not be non-CGI Bridges. Hence why I asked if anyone had watched it... because I don't remember if it's dark/far away/blurry/vague enough that they could've gotten away with using realage!Bridges for that shot.

Come, now; you should know better by now than to think I'm complaining. Not that I thought either one to be anything to get that excited about with a shirt off, but oh well. You take what you can get! I suppose if I were into Hedlund I would've been pretty happy about that scene (and the one with him in his skivvies).

Hell, why do you think I mentioned it? Because I was checking those specific screenshots to see if Action Figure Tron appeared in the background, just so I'd have an excuse to link them for y'all.

(I've been trying to read the magnets for forever, and have yet to be able to figure it out.)
