Unfortunately, since there isn't a safe place to store it, and I don't feel like lugging it around with me, my computer has to stay at home. I don't know if ID is bringing hers, or if I'll get to use one down there, but, if not, I will post everything when I get back.

The Net connection at the hotel is astronomical. I am leaving mine at home too, although I will miss checking sites I visit every night. The Con should keep us busy enough.

Thanks, user897! I have my two t shirts, both black. One has Tron on the front with a disk on the back, done with fabric paint. I couldn't see spending 28$ for a t-shirt and just wanted to declare my fandom. I hope you guys have a blas  If I wasn't as far east on the east coast as you can get (I live at the Beach LoL) I would go too 
I do like to try to go to Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA whenever I can. I havent been in a while so I'm not sure if they do Tron stuff but they do have a great variety. Hopefully they will do something Tron and I can maybe go to it if it hasn't already passed

Hyatt Regency is one of the most expensive hotels, but in lieu of a restaurant. sometimes the bars that serve food are more reasonable. In the posh restaurant, no dish was under 28$ 8-o

That would be the best way to go if you did want to take your laptops. You gotta eat anyway right? Also most Starbuck's have free wifi and some McDonald's have it also.
I think it is a total rip off that most hotels charge for internet access. We take our laptop on trips (the few we take) mostly to unload pics off our cameras but, in the few and far between moments the hotel we are at has free wifi it comes in handy
