Tell me this isn't true.

I can only imagine what horrid actors will be chosen in this remake. Oh dear.

Old news?

Anyway, I think that was taken out of context--all 6 movies are being re-released theatrically in 3D, starting next February with The Phantom Menace. Eventually, A New Hope will get the treatment. I don't think George Lucas is going to actually remake the entire film from scratch.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Why use Norton AV or AVG to protect your computer when you could be using TRON instead!?

Yes, Mayorcan is correct. It's not a remake, but a re-release. Next year The Phantom Menace will play in 3D in theatres everywhere. order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

It was mislabeled then. I guess the writer of that article doesn't know the difference between a remake and remaster.

I didn't actually watch it, but I found it when I googled "Star Wars remakes" to see if the guy in your article was actually onto something. Turns out, there IS alot of speculation that they will be fully remade. Keyword: Speculation. Lucas is stupid, but I don't think he's THAT stupid.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Perhaps he is. I found an article quoting him, in which he talks of plans to remake them in 2019.

I would post the link, but I am unsure of its validity.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Once again, I've spoken without knowing what I was talking about... which means his stupidity has surpassed the realm of reasonability. I deleted my post.

I VERY firmly believe the originals should be left intact.

Even remastering them in 3D is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a Long time.

TESB is my absolute favorite Star Wars movie and to see it remade with new actors would just be painful. Absolutely painful.

The ONLY things I think should be remade would Episodes I-III and put them under the direction of J.J. Abrams or someone like that.

No matter what J.J. would do the films, they would still be better than what we have now.

Unfortunately, one of these days I'll wake up to see the news that George Lucas has passed away, and after that I can only see episodes IV-VI being in danger of being remade.

I'm with user897 on this. George Lucas is totally out of touch with his fanbase. I was the biggest Star Wars fan I knew but after the prequels, that sort of killed it for me. That's not to say I'm not a Star Wars fan anymore, but I'm just not the fan I used to be and I'm more skeptical of anything new that's thrown at me. I'm definitely not a fan of the prequel trilogy.

I'll go see the original trilogy in 3D, but I won't be going to the prequel trilogy.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineorder abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

user897returns Wrote:It is also unfortunate that Lucas dying would be the only catalyst for 20th Century Fox to finally wrestle back some rights and get proper restorations done and released. So, we're essentially left just waiting for him to die, which is sad.

If he dies, and Fox has full ownership, I think that raises the odds even higher that remakes will happen.

On the subject of the original article though, I'm still nervous. Regardless of whether or not the writer can't tell the difference between remaking & remastering... what in the world does that have to do with Avatar 3D? Converting 2D film to 3D like he plans with Star Wars is NOTHING like shooting from scratch with state-of-the-art 3D cameras, so why even make the comparison?

I find it hard to believe that Avatar would suddenly switch a light on in his head, "Hey that's a great idea. I should turn the old Star Wars movies to 3D."

As a matter of fact, I just remembered that I saw a demonstration of 3D conversion in IMAX over a decade ago, and it was with the first 5 minutes of A New Hope. The image quality was frigging amazing. So why he's waited until now to actually do this, I have no idea. 3D adaptation was being done before Avatar too. Superman Returns got a temporary re-release in theaters, with some of the scenes being given the 3D conversion treatment, and that was definitely pre-Avatar.
