Yes, yes- I know. I'm going to be banned for this post, most likely. This is not a plea to be re-instated on Tron-Sector. But the other day, I was reminiscing about this forum, and then I realized- by the time I was banned, I'd never actually gotten the chance to apologize for the people- so this is my public apology to those who I picked fights with, those I insulted, and the people I've hurt.

So, this is just me trying to bury the hatchet. There's nothing I hate more than ending things on a bad note. Everybody was left with sour memories of me when I was banned, because at that point I had attacked 3 other members of the site out of suspicion and paranoia, and it was just wrong. I even took it a step further by trying to cover up what I'd done by lying to everybody, and that was also a huge mistake. If it isn't obvious by now, my brother wasn't the one who sent those hateful messages. I don't even have a brother, actually. I also lied to everyone when I re-joined the site as Episodic.

I guess I just don't want to be remembered as a villain. So, I write this post. All I want is forgiveness. I'm not asking to be reinstated, I deserved the punishment I got. Sure, forever is a long time to be gone from the site, but it's not up to me whats fair and what's not fair. If the staff deems it a fit punishment, it's a fit punishment. Please let me be clear, I simply want your forgiveness. And I know, now, that you're capable of forgiveness thanks to the JediTray situation. You forgave him, is it that difficult to forgive me? I've had three or four months to learn from my mistakes, and from now on, I will not repeat them on any forum I visit.

Well, I'm not exactly back on the grid. I've spoken with the moderators requesting to be allowed back in, but I have received no reply- so, I created this topic under the assumption that unless I get a response from them saying I've been allowed to stay, that I will most likely be banned when a moderator sees my post.

The reason that I was banned was for harassment. Since the Kjoltrx/Korstarter image attacks, I was extremely suspicious of almost all new members, thinking they could be the attacker in disguise. But I took it too far, and sent them hateful, offensive, profanity laden messages, and then I lied about doing so. People left the forums because of my suspiciousness, and others simply complained. I was banned.

Although I'm glad to see that there's at least someone other than ShadowSpark who has forgiven me. I've been continuing to read posts on the forum for the last month or so, and what I've discovered is that alot of people who I thought were still friends of mine, just regard me as "the kid who was banned a few months ago for thinking everyone was a troll." I originally felt kind of betrayed, but hey- I brought this upon myself. So, yeah.

This stuff really baffles me. Are people really that connected to their original screen-names? Just re-join under a different username and don't do what you did wrong.

Moderators here don't ban users with names similar to banned ones on sight. They ban users based entirely on their interactions with the community and their compliance with the rules. Don't do what got you banned before under your new account and you can participate in the discussions. User897 was banned. Currently he's an active member of the community under the name User897returns. Unless I've missed something, he hasn't been banned because he's been following all of the forum rules.

Though clearing your name of what you did is a pretty good idea. Just continue participating in discussions with that account and don't make the same mistake twice.

Two forgiven this week would be nice to see. I sometimes don't like hacking on my posts. So if anyone does, I just look at them as not-so-nice people. But for the most part, I have no trouble with anyone here, and enjoy sharing ideas.

If votes are taken by the mods, I say let them back into the fold. Lessons learned are what counts.

More good news is that I think JediTray and I have, in a sense, made up. We aren't at each-other's throats anymore like we were awhile ago, and we had a calm, mature conversation over at TronFans and I offered a truce. He hasn't responded with anything more than "Some words to think about for sure." but I think things will change for the better.

Add that with the fact that the troll rebellion on this forum has died down, and I think that things are going to run pretty smoothly here for awhile. Things are best when there is no forum drama.

Unfortunately, TronFans is being attacked by a barrage of trolls and spammers, even one who tried to sell illegal drugs such as cocaine on our own website. I'm sure this isn't a rare occurance, I bet there are spam attacks on every website, but we get attacked at least once a day and we only have 3 or 4 active members.
