Greetings Programs!
I just wanted to take a chance to introduce myself, say hello and let you have a taste of a music project that I am involved in.
Inspired by the scene in Tron: Legacy, where Sam returns to Flynn's Arcade, powers up the games and the jukebox AND by the Daft Punk soundtrack, a close friend and fellow musician came up with the idea to do cover versions of 80's songs in the Daft Punk style.
We have two tracks so far, also inspired by the movie, Separate Ways by Journey and Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of These) by The Eurythmics. We thought it would be a good start. So, check out the rough, release candidate of Separate Ways by Glitchfactor here:

We are not going to sell these songs in any way, shape or form. We are just fanboys with keyboards and mixers.
Oh, and by the way, we are calling the project Flynn's Jukebox.

I like the remix's. You probably know already that their is a Daft Punk-Reconfigured album for the movie, if not, definitely check it out, you'll like it. I wish they put some remixes of these two songs on the CD but they stuck with Daft Punk's music only.

Oh yes, program! Been listening to it a ton. I was hoping that Daft Punk would do a remix album too. And let's hope they do the soundtrack to Tr3n.
