I saw the movie last night, and I noticed something.
When Clu was on the Rectifier giving a speech to all the Guards he's created, it suddenly occured to me that it was almost the same has the speech Flynn gave at the conferance in 1989, when we see the flashback scene on TV.
At the conferance Flynn says something like "There is a whole new world waiting for us in there...in there is our destiny!" etc.
Onboard the Rectifier, Clu says more or less the same kind of thing (but with a few slight differances-he says victory, not destiny).
They even stand in front of little podiums!

I liked how they did that, it really brought the story back around - as Kona said, to show how alike Clu and Kevin used to be. It also brings an old phrase to mind: The grass is always greener on the other side... each of them wanted what was on the other side  order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Clu actually does say "destiny" just a moment after "victory" so it is in a slightly different place in the speech. I really liked the mirroring of ideas and goals there, and I think they walked the fine line of making it too obvious real well.
The podium is one thing I was disappointed about. I thought it would have been a wonderful opportunity to have a podium similar to what Sark had in the first movie. That would have been another neat link to Tron 1.

Seems like this whole speech thing was more for Clu's ego than having his programs know his plans. SInce they were all rectified to his way of thinking, would they even care? Kinda like preaching to the choir.
