I always assumed that when Gem comes across Sam after he takes his pop's light cycle to Tron city that it was merely coincidental meeting. However when she says it was intuition that caused her to think that he was looking for someone, it is now obvious as h*ll to me that it in fact was not. It was in fact quite deliberate.

Flynn's light cycle had been traced to his safehouse, so they knew either Sam or Flynn was probably on it, so they also knew one of them was in the city. Castor, being well connected, had cut a deal with Clu just after Sam escaped to deliver Flynn's disc to Clu in trade for control of the city. So after the black guard realized Sam or Flynn had taken the hybrid light cycle to the city, Gem was dispatched to bring him to the EOL club.

As Sam and Castor meet, the lights on the tower housing the EOL club turn on, signaling Clu, as far out as he was at Flynn's safehouse, that it was time to go to the EOL club or send his henchmen there to capture Sam or Flynn and get that disc. I just tuned into all of this last night. Analysis, commentary please?

He didn't know Castor was gonna betray him. Quorra trusted him, and since Sam didn't have a whole mess of options, he trusted him too.

Um, also, Gem says "I brought your boy Flynn" to Castor when she brings Sam in.

Several things clearly clue in that Castor set Sam up, and Gem was in on it too.
First, obviously she knew he was there, she called his name from behind him, now, if she had seen his face sure you could say she recognized him even though he had a big cape on. But there was no way to know it was him upon seeing him.
She said intuition very mockingly; foreknowledge, but not from herself, obviously from an outside source.
She brings Sam to Castor and says to Castor "I brought your boy Flynn"
He turns on the lights, and Clu [in the safehouse] knows exactly what that means.
He is clearly watching for something, hesitating towards the end of his spiel to Sam, ending with "it's going to be quite a ride" when the Black Guard drop through
Gem is in there the whole time, this isn't something she would be allowed to hear if she weren't in on it.
Castor says very bitterly "I believed in Users once before." AKA I don't anymore, he's with Clu.
Sam turns to Quorra and says "play all the angles, huh?" and she just stares back at him, in "what did you expect?" kind of way.
Finally, Gem is with Castor when He's meeting with Clu. Honestly, if nothing else cllued you in that right there should.

Hmm Yeah I was thinking about this.
And of course she sent Gem..
because she is beautiful and would seduce Sam
into going to the End of Line club...

But why did Clu kill Castor?
was it because he didn't trust him?
Or because he knew he killed one of this troop
to get Kevin Flynn's disc?

Dude was kinda acting like a twerp, anyway, right about then. One thing I noticed, though, is that you don't see Sam ogling Gem at all. He's walking through the club on her arm, etc., but he's not staring at her, or hitting on her, or even looking smug like "yeah look I'm here with a hottie." I kinda give him some credit for that.

Yes I think he didn't need Castor..
and Clu also knew he played both sides.
And if he knew he de rezzed one of his troops..
plus the fact he was getting on this nerves...
teasing him withe Kevin Flynn's Disc...

I must give Sam credit for that also!
because I would go crazy if I could be next to Gem...
