My best advice is to keep checking various online retailers, and ebay.

The other day, for instance, Target.com suddenly, at complete random had Rinzler discs in stock for 12.99 a piece. When I got my Kevin Flynn disc on Amazon, I'd been searching off and on for days, hoping a marketplace seller would have one for a reasonable price, and then out of the blue, Amazon had about 5 in stock of Kevin's.

Also, when I called my local Target (as the website said they had them at the store), they told me they had a number of them in the back, but they were under orders to only have the Sam discs on the shelf right now, and they couldn't sell me one until they were told they were allowed to put out the others.

I assumed it had some relation to the DVD/BD release of the movies, but, I'm not sure.

Target is also the only retailer that hasn't moved their supplies to the clearance racks, and keeps them in the actual regular stock areas.

Yeah, the 50 dollar ones on Amazon are the private sellers. When I got mine, it was actual Amazon stock, so it was 19.99.

Also keep checking your local Target, that's what I've been doing. Since they're down to 12.99 at Target, it'd be a nice deal to grab a Kevin for 13 bucks. (Though, that'd be time to buy 2 or 3, I think.)

That's true. For every box of series 2 deluxe identity discs? There are 2 Rinzlers (obviously lol) and only one Kevin Flynn disc.

Yeah, Rinzler is also kind of rare as well. Complicating the matter are the fans, just to be accurate, buy two of them because he has two in the movie.

You know they all sound different? Kevin's has a lower pitch that either Sam's or Rinzlers, and Rinzler's has a faster pitch than Kevin's or Sam's... least it does in my opinion.

How do you know (just wondering)?

The Targets by me had a lot of Kevin and Rinzler discs (when I got mine - about 10 or each and on sale for $13). I went back to get another Kevin for someone and it was the last one in the area (due to eBay'ers).

Nope - not kidding. I picked up an additional white disc myself while I was there.

elecTRONica was pretty cool though the costumes & discs of the cast members could have used a little improvement. Flynn's arcade was great though.

I still need to post pics but I made a special custom disc for myself, a custom jacket styled after young Kevin, and of course a disc mount for the jacket. My disc was held in place with magnets and when putting the disc on my back that would automatically activate the always-on light mode. It worked out pretty well.
