To be honest, i have no clue what the new ride is going to consist of.
The mentioned "stuff" is for the wait in line. like any disney ride, half of it is the experience while waiting in line. Its supposed to be used in the building, to give likeness of a starport. not the ride itself.

Standard Target employee discount is 10% off of anything in the store. Now you also get an additional 5% off when you use the Target Red Card or Target credit card just like anyone else, giving employees a possible 15% off their purchases.

Both T:L and T:C are selling this week for $19.99, which when you factor in taxes and my discounts? I'll end up getting both for around $36, not too shabby!

On an unrelated note? My friend Laura, who works at a different Target than me, was doing what we call "pulls" and put out a rare Kevin Flynn white disc! She asked me if a white disc meant anything and when I told her "Duh!", she went back in the next day and bought it. Surprised it was still there!

Just to clarify? Pulls are what we call carts filled with backstock that didn't go out the first time due to not enough shelf space. Normally, when we flow merchandise from the trucks to the floor, anything we can't fit on the shelves is taken to the backroom where it's scanned into our system and stored.

As merchandise is sold? It registers within our system that there is now shelf space for that merchandise to go out and the backroom team assembles a cart loaded down with stuff that is then pushed out onto the sales floor.

As a result? Certain items can be sitting in the backrooms for a while, waiting for people to buy what is already out before any backstocked items come out. Only the backroom team can release backstocked items to the floor, and you almost never see them on the sales floor. They're always in the back.

Target gets trucks with new stuff on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and all stocking is usually done by around 12 noon. Pulls (backstock) is done on every day of the week without fail.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle lol

I hit my local Target around 9:30 after my daughter's appointment. At the time they only had 4-5 copies of the Tron blu-ray, a couple of the Legacy 4 disc set and one ultimate set. For some reason they hadn't put the 2-disc Legacy blu-ray on the shelf yet. Freaked me out because I thought maybe they had already sold out!
