What exactly does the ISO have in her drawer? A silver gilt mirror, because of course, we know programs are as vain as Users. Her current Jules Verne read, Voyages Extraordinaires, looks like a smaller book to the left, but what is that to the left of the large book? A doll? Looks to be only fabric tied up, so not sure what it is. Anyone venture a guess?

Ah you bring up another query of mine. Who taught Q to fight? Can't be Flynn. Were ISOs self trained? Was it innate? Sam could fight because he was into extreme sports. Flynn was a desk jockey. So where did Q get her talent?

I think she learned combat from Gem when they both had a thing going that got Castor envious (looking innocent). Flynn never said how long the ISOs were in... uhh... ISOlation  before they approached the city. Something about how they looked, combined with the funky skin art, the clothing, etc, seemed to imply a very structured tribal society to me, and Flynn noted that they were very wise. Huh. Evolution and Betrayal sure made them look peaceful. Did anyone mention ISO's fighting Clu's forces, back in Legacy? I don't remember.

Well, In Evolution, We See Quorra fight a tiny bit.
Gibson was an ISO, and we saw him fight, too. (I REALLY did not want him to die. I liked him and I was pissed when I had to derezz him.)

I'm pretty sure Castor was one too and we know Zeus was some kind of epic ISO warrior back in his day.
Anyway, peaceful doesn't automatically mean "turn the other cheek at all costs."

Iso's had a few warriors as indicated by Evolutuion and Battle Grids. But they did not have an organized army or militia.

The Isos didn't have Identity Discs when they "manifested".. so some of them they most likely obtained them later.

metaphorically speaking.
They actually manifested and emerged from the Sea of Simulation according to the graphic novel Tron: Betrayal. Which makes sense when viewing the Sea of Simulation as a kind of digital "primoridial soup", which in T:B it kind of is such.
