OMG you've gotta be kidding. They had this on at the bar and in my stupor I said, "ooh, that looks so Tronny!" I thought for sure that it was just normal stage lighting and from the booze I was seeing more into it than I really was. Guess not. 
And... at least it's not a straight hip-hopper for once. But we're still off target for talent. Lose the damned voice warping. Sheesh!

Well, doesn't Disney have to approve who uses TRON in their performances?
Hence we get Chris Brown, Black Eyed Peas, and Justin Beiber (in a commercial at least).
I doubt they'd let Iron Maiden TRONify anything... LOL...

Revival of the Tron franchise is one thing.
Disney is bordering on abuse IMHO
That is not to say that I didn't watch the video, before i talked down on it.
Side note: the RF on/off and modulation was present in the suits on production of TL but never utilized to full potential like this, think of the possibilities after watching this video.

Depends on the definition of TRON. EL-wire dancers doesn't cut it. And I saw a kiddie dance school do a skit with glow bracelets lining their bodies over a yer before TL came out. At least the music was tasteful there though.
Unfortunately in a way, TL has shown everyone how cool the future can look, which is something that hasn't happened in decades. But now all the people who have the money (which are usually the people with no taste) are taking advantage of it.

I think being on ABC, and seeing a commercial for the home video today, I think this is an obvious move by Disney as well as a chance for the performer to cash in.
I guess there's money to be had in TRON now. With the original, it was, "TRON? Was that the strange computer movie?"

It would have looked better if the suits had better designs and they hadn't used LED strips instead of GlowTape. The LEDs always look bad because they're harder to diffuse and in his suit you could see the individual LEDs.
Also, Chris Brown sucks.
But hell, promotion for Tron, even mainstream crap like this is still promotion. That means maybe another movie, and maybe even restarting the toy line.

No they won't. The Tron: Legacy soundtrack is one of the best selling albums right now. And with the artists they picked for the remix album (Moby, Glitch Mob, The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, Photek some of the best artists in Electronica), they're definitely not selling out to garbage. At least for the soundtrack.

LOL! I actually found it entertaining. I'm not a Chris Brown fan, but you got to admit, he can dance. I haven't seen dance choreography that good since Michael Jackson and MC Hammer. Chris Brown's music is ight.
Some people in here take any criticism made toward Legacy as overly critical. But if anyone in the entertainment industry (that they are not a fan of) is inspired by the look of Tron and incorporates it into there act, it's automatic garbage. Come on guys. Are we the only ones allowed to be Tron fans? How many of you have made costumes? Got a cease and desist letter from Disney yet?
Tron's glowing look was partly inspired by neon lighting. I say neon light manufacturers unite! It's time to sue! Sounds ridiculous, right?
It's not like they were wearing Tron costumes.
