Having just watched this unboxing video, I've cancelled my pre-order and then ordered the standard 5 disc set.

Star Trek was better. You put together the insides and voila, you have the Enterprise! A disk that only lights up when you push the button. Naww.

Yeah thanks for posting Zero. I don't visit IGN much anymore so I would have missed this. I had already passed on this version but the video makes me confident that I've got no desire for this at pretty much any price (maybe $30 or so since I'll already have all the movies.)
edit: The 5 disc version is nice but it appears that it does not contain all of the extras for the original Tron movie. Just as a heads-up, the stand-alone release of Tron on Blu and DVD has all of the extras present in the 20th anniversary edition. If you don't have the 20th anniversary DVD release of Tron, you might want to consider getting Tron and Tron Legacy on separate blu or dvd releases instead of the 5 Disc set. Ugh, I'm kind of rethinking my preorder for this now...
If only because I want to have Tron's bonuses too and apparently, I need the separate blu-ray set for it @_@
ETA-- I do have Tron 20th anniversary dvd set, but I've been wanting the extras with subtitles, so I'm kind of at a loss what to do. The disc case does seem cool, but I feel like that's really not cutting it for me.

** That's incorrect -- the 5 Blu-Ray disc version which includes the Blu-Ray of the original TRON includes both the new bonus material, as well as the 20th Anniversary set's content, on the TRON Blu-Ray.

imho - I am disappointed by the sub-standard quality of the disk case.

I'll be picking up TRON and TRON: Legacy separately inBlu-Ray/DVD combo packs. With the 5 disc set, it doesn't look like you get TRON on DVD or digital copy, just TRON: Legacy.
