Who bought this and was a certain color more scarce than the other? My local record store was unable to order this release, but the funny thing is ebay is abundant with them at 5-6 times the markup.

Yeah I'm not lining anyone's pockets over this item either. Hopefully I'll be able to get one, but if not I'll get over it.

There is at least one RSD website selling items online tonight at midnight, stay tuned I might have an update then. Going to see if any other RSD websites are selling extra merchandise tonight too. I don't mind paying shipping (+ a little extra to a member) but I'm not paying $60+ for a $10 record with 4 songs on it. Although I will be very excited to have a legit version of Castor.

I pulled the trigger on a $45 Red one. I got to the record store a half hour after opening, with both of my boys in hand, and came to find a monster of a line. An employee came by, and when I asked him if he had any more of the Daft Punk, he chuckled and said they were LONG since sold out of them. ...mind you, the store had been opened for a half hour. Even if they DID have one, I couldn't have...well, my boys couldn't have waited that long in line.

So, I'm okay with paying $45 for a red version. I wanted one, it justified the over spend.

I'll be watching for a cheaper blue one, too.

Well, I'm finally home...

I got antsy and left the seminar at 2:15 (when it was supposed to end at 2pm), and they only started Q&A.

I called record shops. My local one had a line at 7am, and only got 6 in, which were sold after an hour after opening (they opened at 10am).

I called the one who I had e-mailed a while back. He ordered and got a dozen. I told him I was on my way (he couldn't hold them).

I got there at 3:15 and snagged his last two - blue and yellow. They didn't realize that there were different colors.

At 4, I called a few other stores and asked if they had a red one (which they also didn't realize there were "colors"), but got nothing but laughs as I had called about 5 hours too late... they had sold them all within an hour of opening.

They were $11.99 each.

Well, I need a red one - let the obsession begin...
