Greetings Programs and I/O Tower Guardians,

I went to open Tron-sector a few minutes ago, and to my HIGH displeasure, the hacker who was posting sickness-inducing pictures is back, but now he's changed his name to ag546awe4 -and not only that, he's posted a LONG chain of sick pictures through ALL the topics in the I/O Tower column. I wish we could track this program down and throw him in a pit cell permanently, and keep him out of the system. He's really messing with my Zen thing, Man, and it's really upsetting to go to the BEST Tron site on-line (I mean that from the heart - I'm glad this site is still around and exists in the first place) and see some goof-off trying to bring this site down. What is he trying to prove? Is he some disgruntled movie reviewer who gave Tron: Legacy a negative rating, but got even more pissed off when it grossed past $100 M internationally? I wish this guy would leave this site the hell alone. Thank you. End of Line.

Seriously, there are many forum software packages that would allows for an "ignore" feature, or at least notification of bad posts. There is none of that here. It is time to fix this site. This is unacceptable that it keeps happening and can't be stopped. It's probably too much work for you the mods, and it is killing this place. Oh man, as a father I apologize for this slime. Nobody should have to see this junk and especially children. Hopefully the mods here can keep this place safer from now on, but I know you can't "unsee" things. I only hope the memories fade quickly for you.

I was hoping to have my morning ritual of breakfast - fruit juice - fora I frequent, but as trolly boy is here again I'll just have to come back tonight.

I'll add my voice to those thinking an update is an order to keep filth like this out, as well as make for a smoother browsing experience, and I repeat: I am happy to take on a mod role, or do anything within my power to help.

Unfortunately I discovered his "handy work" after I had my morning bowl of cereal. To add even more insult to injury (and this is totally unrelated) I lost my Grandpa late last night and didn't find out til this morning. Thank you Auric for coming to our rescue.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you some additional info about what's been going on.

The person who keeps spamming the site with filth is someone who's friends with a former member that was banned from Tron-Sector. This member was the first person we've ever needed to ban in the history of the site. He was annoying, rude, insulted other members, and posted lots of non-sensical messages.

As "revenge" for being banned, he and/or his friend keep coming back under different names and posting shock images. It's just a more extreme version of what this member had already been doing, and proved that banning him in the first place was the right thing to do.

It's tough to ban someone based solely on their IP, and stronger security measures will be required. This site is custom programmed by Auric, so he will have to make any changes necessary. And he has already begun doing so. I made at least one suggestion, and it seems Auric has just implemented it. So everyone say thanks to Auric for taking the time to work on this stuff!

Regarding adding additional admins, and so on. No matter how many admins there are, we can't monitor the site 24 hours a day. Stuff will always slip through. But I've personally banned this pest and cleaned up his mess many times over. In the last couple of weeks alone, I've banned him and removed all his posts twice. There have been attacks where I nipped it in the bud and you never even saw it, because I caught him early enough. So understand that as admins WE ARE keeping any eye out and doing something about this nuisance. You just don't notice when we catch him and do our jobs. But again, we can't be here 24/7 to monitor the site.

If Auric makes the change that new accounts have to be authorized, then that should solve the problem altogether. Hopefully, he'll get that working soon.
