They also had quorra, rinzler and Clu figures for £2.99 each. I might go back tomorrow and buy quorra for attempting an Olivia Wilde figure if I can find a donor head.

has this happened to anyone too? it seemed a right time to ask since someone mentioned clu figs having the same problem above. quorra actually went to my uncle's house before my house and it was okay there but when they mailed it to my house internationally, the head+ball joint came off! im suspecting the travel caused this, but has anyone tried this and fixed it without opening the card? is that even possible? like maybe with forceps and superglue? was planning to keep in box especially since it still has the try me tab on.

Sorry to the dude with the Quorra figure, thats weak, not even open. Ive only had this problem with Clu, no one else. I thought maybe it was a series 1 vs. series 2 thing, but I broke one of each trying to twist the head off. I noticed on my series 2 Clu the head was a lot more easier to turn than the series 1. I popped the head off and it looks like they applied a small amount of some sort of plastic grease so the ball joint would function better. I'd recommend doing this to the rest of your figures if you're having problems with the head ball joint being too stiff. can anyone tell me if the core figures have any rubber bands that held them in place inside the package? i cant remember if they did, its been a while since i opened one. i have some unopened figures but dont want to open em just to know that. i know there are rubber bands holding the accessories but are there any holding the figure's body? like maybe its middle torso or arms... coz i have an idea about my quorra fig.

i practiced it on my opened rinzler and what i did is i removed his head, placed it back in the card treated it like an unopened pack, and i dislodged the parts of his body that was held by the packing using applicator sticks that i inserted thru the try me hole. now hes loose in the bubble. so i pushed down on his neck to expose the neck to the try me hole. this part i thought maybe super-gluing the ball joint back on the neck was possible. then i tried inserting the head with tweezers into the hole and positioned it and push down on the head to attach it on the neck and it worked. i just had to position it back onto the forming in the bubble using a pinky or sticks and voila. i posted it here so others could get an idea if they had a similar problem or would like to tell me if it's a good plan.

Rinzlier vinylmation figure just shipped out. Can't wait to get him and complete my collection. I'm not partial to vinylmations, but it was Tron so had to get the lot. I have them all sitting on top of my Tron film cell picture frame I got for my birthday last year. Just a bit excited.
