Evidence SUGGESTS that it won't be available in the US, but things change all the times. They could even, wait for it...CHANGE THE PACKAGING! Changing an S to a Z isn't tough you know.
While I do know for a fact that there are Disney Store UK Exclusive items, and Disney Store France and Disneyland Japan, etc...they are usually labeled "Disney EUROPE" Exclusive or something like that. I got a set of the Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore beanies dressed as the 3 Musketeers some time back and it clearly said "Disney Store Europe" Exclusive.
So I'm still skeptical. You're probably right and it won't appear here, but I wouldn't stop giving up hope.

I understand your skepticism. And who knows... if enough people write Disney Store US and ask nicely if they could make it available maybe they'd consider it in the future? Doesn't hurt. Although the big merch push is over... there might be another for the DVD/Blu-Ray... though it's doubtful they could make this happen in time for then.

You would think they would ship to the US or at least a Disney Store in the US. I guess they just don't want the extra money. :P
They ship to other countries though. I wonder why not the US. Are these made by Spin Master? The boxes they come in look the same as the stuff Spin Master is making, but the products in the UK are better. Why?

They are not manufactured by Spinmaster unless they are doing it as a third party private label kind of thing.
And the folks to speak to aren't the customer service reps, you gotta go to corporate and try and talk to the buyers behind the scenes.
Also remember they aren't manufactured in the UK, they're made in china or somewhere else in Asia. It would be just as easy for Disney to ship them to the US. But the UK stores would of couse say THEY can't do it because they can't. But Disney corporate could easily do so.
Has anyone tried DELIVEREARS?

Two things we can do, put pressure on them publicly I tweeted at the president of disneystores world wide for them at
http://twitter.com/#!/disneystoreprez
I posted on the disneystore facebook pages
http://www.facebook.com/DisneyStore
And started a discussion on them on the facebook pages.
http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=16932&uid=59526724529
Everyone here needs to do the same, TWEEt the prez and post on both the facebook pages, it's a ice cube's chance in hell but what else can we do?

The side of the box containing 4 Recognisers I got
says 418 (I think) of 501, so does that imply only 2004 Recogniser play sets were made? or were there more batches of 501 boxes?
Seems like a low number, but then again there were only apparently a few thousand of the NECA cycles made for the 20th anniversary, and the printed numbers on the holographic stickers have all smudged over time on mine.

I would think there's more than 2k in production, that seems like a fairly low number for profitability.

Just wanted to chime in on this...
When Wall*E came out, there were these magnetic figures where you could remove Wall*E's and Eve's limbs and rearrange them. It said they were not going to be sold here in the US. So, I ordered one from Canada and was happy. Later I went to a Disney Store only to find boxes of them. My point is that they *might* show up here. I believe tweeting the Disney Store Prez may help and will gladly join the campaign.
Although I would much rather have a full 3 3/4" scale Recognizer. Yes, it would be enormous and expensive.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

Agreed! I was thinking about that yesterday. I think this one will have to do the job for now. The diecast one looks cool but Mrs RecoPilot agrees that it's just too damn small to display with our cycles.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion Zac in NZ |

Well and this one at least lights up like the vehicles.
---------------------------------------------------------UPDATE------------------------------------
I got this tweet from
@DisneyStorePrez , Jim Fielding
I will see what I can do
I then tweeted him" the Thank you Tron Pullback Light Cycle (Item #411259176666P) Modelno. 2743-w Tron Reconiser carry case (upc #411259176741)"
He is a very active tweeter, please tweet at him if possible,we should keep it active in his mind that many people want these, which is not hard to say because they are the two best representations of the iconic vehicles that are out there.
I also posted on the disneystore's youtube channel , another action everyone who wants one should take. http://www.youtube.com/user/DisneyStore

If it's a Disney Store exclusive (and a UK-specific one at that) then 2000 is probably about the right number of them. That's at about the right place for a minimum order quantity to be profitable. That being said, it could just be a specific shipment coming over on the boat and maybe another shipment is coming. Kinda hard to say.
As for a larger Reco playset... I'd love one! But this one is pretty well-sized to serve as my Reco in my display for now.

2000 is also a low enough number to take the effort to individually number them and call them limited edition collectables, like the 20th ann. Light Cycles & figures. I wonder why they didn't do that if only a small amount really were produced.
Even though the mini vehicles with the sets are plastic, they're still way cool, they all have working wheels (except for the jets obviously), and annoyingly I now want a larger sized version of Kevin's cycle - I'll get it some day after the exclusive toys trading is over.

NortRelznir, did you buy one off eBay then?
Mr.Sci-Fi, they're £25, I was told at the post office it'll cost £34 to post, with a little bit added on for the petrol/time to get them (it was a 90 minute journey for me) & post them it works out at about $95 too.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill
