Hello everyone, new to the grid here. Thought I would start by showing off my custom deluxe toy disc mod. Been working on this for a few months now and I'm almost finished with it!

Both the inner and outer rings are on independent systems with separate power sources and switches. I also installed neodymium magnets on the back and LED bezel mounts on the front. I'm working on installing an AC/DC adapter jack so I can save battery life and just plug it in when I want to display it on my desk.

Excellent job! I was hoping to make an identity disc similar to yours on my own, do you have any schematics or a guide to doing it?

Would you sell some?
Or at least tell us how you created that!
It looks awesome!   
I can make a Disc in Photoshop or GIMP no problem.
But i wish I had one in real life.. keep up the good work program !

I thought the deluxe disc already lit up. Could you post a side by side of a un-modded and modded disk perhaps?

Sure, on top is the regular with only 8 LEDs stock and cast white translucent rings. Below is is my "Full Kit" modded disc with over 75 LEDs.

So Soulinertia...how do we go about ordering these mod kits from you?? Personally, I absolutely love what you've come up with and I can't wait to try this out myself.

I'd love to do a pink ID disc, but I can't possibly justify $82 for a gimmick. It's cool though, and it's nice to see that someone is doing what Spinmaster should have done already!

Am surprised SpinMaster and Disney didn't find the need to make a disc that stays lit so we don't have to mod them. I thought it would've been obvious people would want that and pay a few extra dollars for it...
How long does the battery last?

I might be interested, but I wouldn't want to spend that much money only to find making the mod was more than I could handle. Any chance of a video showing what it would take to install your kit? I guess photos would also do.

I had both LED strips running off of one battery and it stayed very bright for a good 5hrs before starting to dim. I ended up leaving it on for or over 72hrs and it was still lighting all 75 LEDs, though not very bright by then and you could only really tell it was on in a dimly lit room. Now I've changed the design for two independent systems with 2 batteries, one running each set of lights, so I imagine it should last quite a bit longer, but I haven't done a full battery drain test just yet.
