Eek, I'm struggling with this! I really, really, really, REALLY want it to be legit -- and believe me, I screamed when I heard "End of Line" -- but I agree with Websteria and madopal: there's a real possibility that this one is a fake.

The Next Day was obviously the real thing, as that it featured Bruce Boxleitner, Dan Shor, and Garrett Hedlund in never-before-seen footage. That stuff could NOT have been faked. The problem with this video is that we don't see Dillinger (Jr. or Sr.), and the voice that we hear could have been faked with a variety of voice-changing apps/software/whatever. As someone else said, it does sound a little different than the MCP voice (not a dead giveaway, 'cause maybe they would want it to sound different, but still...) Another thing that strikes me as odd: why do we only hear Sr.'s voice, but not Jr.'s? Not a big deal, but it just kinda doesn't make sense to give one side of the conversation a voice, but keep the other as just a text screen.

All in all, I SO hope that this is real, because this would, in my opinion, be an even stronger lead towards Tr3n than The Next Day was! But I'll reserve judgement until the Blu-Ray is released. Then we'll know for sure. (It's so close!!!!)

wow... I can't understand how some people can be so immensely skeptical and doubt the clip is real.

I am 99.9% certain it is real, and that people find the clip as a hidden "Easter Egg" on the Tron Legacy BluRay/DVD....

I don't think the line "He may not be his father, but he's still a Flynn," is meant to be taken in the literal sense. I think what Dillinger Sr. (if that's who it is) was trying to convey was that Sam may not be his father Kevin when it comes to programming skills, but that he's "still a Flynn" meaning he's very intelligent and would be difficult to fool or defeat, hence the next line, "Don't underestimate him."

I do believe the Easter egg here is real. It appears to me to have pretty good production values, and the voice is most certainly reminiscent of David Warner's MCP, but I'm not convinced it's him. How exciting it is though!

I was going to ask you to explain how Dillinger sounding like the MCP makes any sense at all without devising a poorly conceived fan fiction ret-con theory, but I see you've already mustered up one.

I'm thankful for the easter egg, assuming it is legit. Wishing it was better quality than what an average person could do from their own computer is all I was wanting, though. Creating fan-fic ret-con to justify DillingerCP probably shouldn't really be necessary either.

Anyone who can't appreciate what has been given to them in the world of Tron lately needs to have their heads checked. We are so very, very blessed.

Y'all are taking any mild critiques a little too seriously. Just like the lead-up to Tron Legacy's debut. Can't wait to see this forum when critiques for Tron 3 start rolling in from the community

I think Auric should start building out a new area of the site for people who wish to constructively discuss Tron 3 developments without fear of mud-slinging wars and LOL WUT juvenilisms. Would require a separate login. And you have to have been registered here more than 4 years ago, pass a rigourous exam on the original movie - or create a 1000-word constructive analysis essay of some things you wish were different in Tron Legacy, to be reviewed by fellow Warrior Elite peers prior for acceptance. Any inflammatory remarks obviously meant to be condescending and unproductive could mean immediate derezzing from the area.

PS: Seems like User897 could confirm for us if it's real, since he has the movie. Has he yet?
