Great thread idea!
I agree with Jalen - the Legacy sountrack has a couple of tracks that are wondeful for getting you in the right frame of mind to 'push off' and 'knock on the sky'. I meditate also, and although i usually do not listen to music while doing so i did pick up on the Tron Legacy music tracks giving off a related vibe. Very cool.
I love meditating. I used to do it daily with japa beads for a hour or so in the evening. Now i find i tend to do it sporatically in the daytime, usually on the go. Zoning out on the bus ride to work is a common spot...or standing around waiting for one!
I find it easy to pull my mind and thoughts away from the outside world and focus on the inner. It is a great way to center yourself, or help focus your mind away from any distracting or unpleasent situations you may be in. It happens naturally...and it is a shame that more people do not tap into this simple exercise. It really is quite relaxing and helps you better focus on what is really the important things in your life.
I had no idea Jeff Bridges was actually really into this stuff too. When i was reading up on 'Tron : Legacy' recently i came across a article where it goes into his interests. I was tickled to see what appeared to be his very own set(s) of meditation beads wrapped around his characters' wrist in the film. That made me smile...that attention to detail.
