Remember folks T:L CLU was a replicated user. Not just a program like his
predacessor was. I liked CLU from the first film, but he was just another

Not to sound snakish; but while watching the movie. I will have to grab
my copy of T:Betrayal and see if it mentions anything there as well.
As I understand it: Kevin Flynn literally C/P'd himself with that frame app to make
CLU(2). This is part of why reintegration was explained as likely fatal for both of
them. It's like trying to fit 2 pounds of sugar into a 1 pound bag.
The "Shackled God" part is due to CLU(2)'s ability to repurpose programs but
still he cannot create them. I imagine he simply does not have Flynn's access
level. Which is likely another reason he would want the KF disk.

I haven't seen much of Clu yet, but either way I still have to say CLU 2, just because he's CLU 2. I mean... LOOK AT HIM! xD
As for Yori or Quorra, Yori is more hands on, Quorra has too much innocence.

Personally, I'd say CLU 1.0, however, CLU 1.0 would need some serious programming upgrades, in my opinion. Even though CLU 1 just had a tank, and CLU 2.0 has his throne ship and the Rectifier ship, as well as a fleet of Recognizers and other vehicles, CLU 1 could beat him. Clu 2.0, no contest. As the administrator for the entire Grid, I'd say Clu 2.0's more on par with something like the MCP than an ordinary program.
MCP vs. Clu 2.0? Now that, I'd pay to see.

In that one, I would say Clu 2 would win. The MCP would assimilate him, then he'd take it over from the inside. For all that Clu 2 is a bad guy, you have to admit, he is resourceful.

I haven't allowed myself to actually watch the deleted love scene until i see the whole movie first, but I've read the script for it...and it sounds like poor Tron's like "so, Yori, what're we doing at your place? ...uh...what're you doing?....Oh. Cool thread. Here is my vote -
CLU 1.0 vs. CLU 2.0 -
CLU 1.0 would win only if he used his 'stealth' capabilities described earlier to the maximum effect. If he blew it, and was not careful and ended up being spotted...forget it. CLU 2.0 would derezz him in a millisecond.
Next up:
MCP vs. CLU 2.0 -
That would rock....but i see the MCP taking him over and it's 'end of line' man...
And finally....
Bit vs. Jarvis ( that tool...lol...) -
Oh seriously....Bit would kick the ..well, bits outta him! Jarvis is such a ...a....wuss.

Clu 2.0 seems stronger than average. Sam smacks him to no effect. Then Clu easily flips him off him when Sam runs into him.
Clu had loyalty, but showed fear and hey, why didn't he run when the recognizers were descending on him. It's almost as if Flynn created him to be a good data hunter but not much more, and he said he was going to watch things from outside. So what did Flynn do, because it obviously didn't help.

This really is an interesting topic when you think about it! It's all been pretty much covered already, but I agree with what others have said: CLU1 was awesome with a tank, stealthy, and "dogged and relentless" ("Let me at 'em!"). Oh, and he has Bit. CLU2 does seem to have a lot more in the bad@ss department, and does seem more like a direct copy of Flynn himself. As for who would win in a fight, I think it would really depend upon the circumstances.
As someone else mentioned: CLU2 vs. MCP. That would be freakin' epic! I'm a gal so I really shouldn't be answering this, but....Quorra is an ISO so she can learn. Yori can do what she's programmed to do, and no fellas, you didn't get to program her.

There is nothing that says a regular program couldn't learn, afterall, the MCP was just a Chess Program when it started.
The ISO's had no designated function, profoundly wise and naive at the same time, which indicates they had some level of intelligence upon creation.
