Well Clu 1 did take out a LOT of recognizers. And was one hell of a shot with a tank. We never see him in disc battles or light cycle battles. However being made from Flynn, who created all the various ships (light cycles, tanks, Recognizers), my guess is that Clu would have been equipped with code to handle all that.

Clu 2, like someone said, very much like Clu 1, but with a different objective. And yes, that gave him a throne ship, and army, ect.

But we are talking one on one. Clu1 vs. Clu2 with light cycles, discs, tank battles etc. I think it would be one heck of a battle. Some might be inclined to say that Clu2 would be more vicious and would have the upper hand, but I think Clu1 being a renegade program, "Dogged and relentless", that he would be much the same way. Clu1 was not a control program or a conscript. He served one heck of a user, and that user was a hacker who tried to find information in whatever way possible.

An interesting question. And we saw Clu1 and Clu2 be vulnerable. Clu1 was caught by a recognizer (after taking out a small squadron of them). Clu2 had his light cycle cut off by Quorra's light runner that sent him flying. (after almost winning a light cycle match and was caught off guard)

Did we see Clu2 in an actual disc battle? He weilded one, but that was about it.

When I started I was leaning towards Clu2, but I guess really thinking about it, it might be actually difficult to say who would win that fight.

Well while Jarvis was a suck-up I believe his information was accurate.

Same with Bit.

Neither have ever been seen fighting.

Goes without saying Bit is cooler looking.

But Jarvis does have a cool sneeze guard.

Now hand to hand Clu 1.0 would be at a dissadvantage simply because Clu 2.0 definitely had serious combat skills. However Clu 1.0 did sport the original light disc which had its own special in-air multidirectional moves, so when Clu 1.0 spun in air ala Rinzler style to avoid being hit the 1.0 disc would stop in air, reverse itself and nail Clu 2.0 before he even got his feet back on the floor.

*sigh* I really wished that Flynn's disc had been solid. That would've fit right in with his vintage lightcycle.

And he's got Bit to consult with in his decision making while Clu 2 has that two-faced tool Jarvis.

Bit is pretty much a glorified magic 8-ball. I wouldn't rely on him too much.
