I finally found a Sam today so here he is with some paint added. You cant really tell from the pic, but Kevin isn't just a repainted head, I actually sculpted the additional beard in the missing parts.

Very nice work Zuse. Now Kevin looks a little bit less basic than the factory version.
What did you use to tint Sam's faceplate?, On mine paint doesn't want to adhere to the surface.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlinewhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Testors model masters acrylic clear blue. Though at first it seemed it wasn't adhering to mine as well. I just hit it with more paint and it eventually took. It did end up being darker than I was planning, but I still like it better than the way it was released.

So... not exactly Tron specifically, but I was looking for a few tips. For one of my next figures, I'm using a generic female Star Wars body, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about modding the hips to have ball joints instead of straight swivels.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

¿Could you post an image? or just the figure's name to have an idea of what are you working with.
Off-hand, I'd be tempted to swap the whole hip area...

I don't have any female characters with good hips except my Scarlet, and she has a GI Joe body, so the lower torso is attached. Annnd I don't want tot dismantle her cuz I lurfs her lots.
This is the base figure for my project. -==[ www.boba-fettuccini.com ]==- |

So, you want to use those same legs on those same hips, only adding lateral movement?
If so, I'd try something like the structure used in the Avatar figures.
functionality is pretty much the same as what you get from real ball joints or the more common peg & hinge articulation.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

ender9492 Wrote:Well, i'd say the figure has a good base for a torso transplant. If money is no problem, i'd say grab another female gijoe and chop her in half.
If you're on a budget... You could use the Apoxy you bought and try to create a socket for the ball joint pegs.
Edit: Okay, after rereading your post, it sounds like you want to keep the existing legs/body, but add ball sockets to them... that'll be a little bit trickier. Are you using some ball joints you have lying around? What figure did they come from? are the sockets still intact on that figure?

Well, let's look at it like this. I have $3 in my wallet, and my debit is for school-related transactions. :P
I'd be game for keeping the same legs, but I have an extra Quorra that I already Frankensteined the arms from, so I could do that.

I do have two of this figure, so I'd be willing to experiment... but your diagram just confuses me. I think I understood better before seeing it :P Oooh... Joints are pretty much the same as the ones in the DCUC line, if that helps...

By the way, I figured out how to make the paint "stick" to the surface of Sam's visor.
I wanted to keep the outer shell smooth and shiny, so the tint had to be applied to the inner surface of the piece. To prep the inner face I gave it a quick blast of matte varnish from a can, just enough to be barely noticeable.
I let it dry for a couple of hours and then applied a few thin ink washes to the inside, letting each one dry thoroughly before applying the next. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

With enamel paints I'm sure it would work, but not with acrylics or inks. And regular paint thinner is much more cheap than acetone, in any case, with basically the same plastic fusing properties.
One problem I see is that the solvent will also eat away at the bristles of your painbrush, if they are made from synthetic fibers, or dissolve the glue that holds the hairs to the ferrule on natural hair brushes.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

well, thanks for the idea. I took my scalpel to the legs and made it happen. I'll use apoxie sculpt to resculpt a couple pieces I had to cut off. I'll have to somehow make a good peg for the joint, so I'll experiment with that.

The round plastic sprues leftover from some model kits work nicely as rods or pivots for joints.

Just got one of these today and it fits nicely. A bit loose, but the proportions are very good. A little hot glue will tighten it up and I'll need to remove the Jedi hair extensions.

Sorry--poorly written post. I put the "got one" info in the subject line.
The newly-released Attack of the Clones Vintage Peasant Anakin Skywalker figure has a nicely-sized close-enough Sam Flynn head.
It just needs a haircut and some sculpting.
