Hey Boba - do you know anyone who can do paint mods on the Kevin Flynn light cycles? I'd like to buy enough of them to make an original set, as paying $250 for them on eBay is not appealing.

Comments?

Nice job. The orange matches very nicely to Rinzler. Did you paint over the clear parts with transluscent paint? I've torn apart a Clu bike and am going to try recasting those pieces in either clear or dyed resin. Ditto for the light jet as well and swapping out the LEDs.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

I have already tentatively agreed to do this for User897. I'm currently messing around with mine to figure out what gets best results.

Here's my Rinzler bike, based on the Clu bike.

I'm not sure Rinzler's bike had the little winglets over the rear wheel, but I'm going to wait until I can check it out better on the BluRay before cutting them off...

Looks great trench! I'm excited to figure out if Rinzler was on a G4 or G5 bike too. The orange looks good too, how does it look when it's lit up? Can you share how you got the plastic dyed like that?

It was actually pretty easy, I just went over everything that was yellow with Tamiya clear red.

Originally that was my plan just for the translucent bits, and going with a solid reddish orange color for the rest. Then after spending a half-hour failing to mix a suitably matching color to the Rinzler figure, I discovered that simply using a light coat of the clear red over the yellow paint on the body panels worked pretty nicely.

The final color ends up being a touch darker than Rinzler's red-orange, so if I were to do it again, I'd maybe consider using a mix of clear red:clear orange or clear yellow.

I was hoping it would light up more orange, but unfortunately the yellow LEDs cut through the red paint surprisingly well, plus, there was quite a bit of yellow light leaking around the translucent plastic bits on the wheels, so the overall effect is a slightly orange tinted yellow. Therefore, a proper job would require changing out the LEDs. However, since the bike will spend 99.99% of the time unlit, I was OK with the final result.

Yeah, I was just looking at the pics. Thanks!

Looks like they're "wingless" Clu bikes. I'm actually now wondering if the other two are Black Guards and not Sentries, who, from your sig, look to have the standard "Sam" bikes.

You can swap LED's with the one-man light jet. Will require some soldering but that's what I'm doing and giving the jet the yellow ones from Clu's bike to make Clu's jet.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Oh, that's a good idea.

How hard was it to get the cowling off the Clu bike?

I'm worried I'd bugger it up...abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Not as hard as removing the clear rim pieces (broke two of the four) but I'm going to get some Alumalite and make castings of the good pieces. Problem with the light jet is the exhaust and arm consoles need to be completely recasted in either clear or transcluscent yellow so most of the work and expense will be recasting pieces.

What was the best way to remove the rims from the Bike? I just picked up a clearanced Lightcycle from literally the only walmart with TRON anything. It was only $9, and I was hoping to snag one for Rinzler.

I snapped the C ring on my Disc when I swapped the Sam rings for the Flynn ones, so i'm really paranoid that i'll wind up snapping the rims too.

basic knock-together of my Norton Antivirus custom. Arms/Legs = Marvel Universe Multiple Man, Hands = Marvel Universe Winter Soldier, head = GI Joe Rise of Cobra Snake Eyes...

The main body will be sanded down a bit around the chest and re-painted/sculpted so that the only light-up point will be the Norton 'o' symbol.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Daft Punk customs are on the to-do list. I'm keeping my eyes out for better base parts first. I don't want to waste more time on the Tron figures... the lights are cool, but gimmicky and overall pointless. I'm thinking my best bet will end up being a Marvel Universe figure or something.
