After having done some research I believe that the staff included with Clu's Sentry was supposed to have been the same weapon used by the Black Guard in the EOL club. First I found this picture

Which shows a very different looking staff to the one included with the Clu's Sentry figure. The one with the figure is only made up of one baton, and doesn't even reach the Sentry's chin. Also, the length of each end of the staff which comes out of the baton for the figure version are different, whereas here the two batons are perfectly in the middle. The entry and photo on Tron Wikia back this up.

So it looks like rather than combining two katanas, the proper way to make the weapon would be to combine two of the Sentry staffs after cutting off the excess length.

Ender, how did you dremel down the Rinzler torso without it losing all detailing? I was wondering if using hydroshrink might work to make a slightly smaller casting. My casting adventures had to go on pause due to my only available workspace being the kitchen table, and my mother is a Girl Scout cookie mom and needed to set up her cookie command center there. =/ Tomorrow is supposed to be nice though, I might set up outside and give it a few more tries.
