1. Kevin's flashback. The contrast between Clu's betrayal and Tron's unwavering loyalty is...astonishing, I suppose. Something about this scene is just so well executed.

OMG, Tron, yes. It doesn't even occur to him to try to run... he obviously knows they won't both make it, so he's got to kick some ass. (or maybe some part of him wants to beat the crap out of Clu for what Clu just did)

Would Tron have been so loyal to Flynn if Flynn hadn't been stuck in the system with him, escaping, fighting and nearly dying together? After all, Flynn is not Tron's user.
Would anybody be so loyal to someone they're not friends with? I doubt it was just that they were "stuck" together; it seemed like they truly were friends to me. And frankly, I figure you never know with Tron. Besides the fact that he "fights for the Users," everything I can gather suggests that yeah, he'd kick ass for anybody who needed it...

What do you want? I'm busy.

Program, please!

Chaos.... good news.

I agree!

Apart from Avatar, the last time I felt like this whilst watching a movie at the cinema was TRANSFORMERS (the FIRST one, not the second one).
Like Tron, TRANSFORMERS played a big part in my childhood during the 80s. I had loads of stuff-toys, action figures, merchandise, etc.
And so, after waiting neraly 23 years, I finally got the chance to see the characters I had grown up with finally appear on the big screen.
And even though I'm a grown man, to be honest, sitting there in that cool cinema on a nice hot summers day, it was one of the most fun 2 hours I had had in a long time! ;D It gave me a wonderful, somewhat endearing sense of nostalgia.

I was only about 2 YEARS OLD when the first film came out, so therefore I was much too young to have seen it at the time. The only time we got chance to see it was when it was OCCASIONALLY on TV during the 80s & 90s.
And like TRANSFORMERS, after waiting over 25 years, I finally got the chance to see those characters & adventures I had grown up (even if the story and settings are a bit differant).
Seeing all the action and drama up there on the big screen, I imagined that is kind of what it must have been like watching the first movie for the first time way back in 1982.

From the moment that Disney castle appeared in the opening credits to the final scene with Sam & Quorra, it gave me the same sense of carefree nostalgia I had had watching TRANSFORMERS.
