Remember these balls Clu was holding during the disc battle between Rinzler and Sam in TRON Legacy?
In the TRON (1982) special edition DVD there were lots of pictures of early designs for the characters in the movie. And guess what, these things were early designs for the bit! ->

Did anybody notice that Alan's tie has the same black hexagon pattern as the clothing for the programs/users (and background pattern on tron-sector)? This is best seen when Alan comes to tell Sam about the page from the arcade.

ok description: on the top panel movie player you see the guy in front of
flynn mouthing the words "that's tron fights for the users"
on the bottom portion just a moment later rinzler/tron
turns to sam and says "user"
its like tron heard across 20 years. eeeeerie.

ok i got the zoom windows to work
so you can see a zoom of the timers at the top
the left timer is for the tron 1 vid
the right timer is for the tron legacy vid
vid 1 flynn is talking to bit
vid 2 during flynn's flashback he was
holding bit or 2 bits.
and i got the gif size down to 900kb
tho this is just 9 frames per second
if disney can pay homage to bit they
better get yori and Lora back in the third movie.
