And if you see the democraphic counts in imbd, you can easily see that the people who are 18 or younger like the movie more than most of the old TRON fans so the mid 20s to low 40s.

So people who unfortunately grew up with no-brainers like Transformers and get blown away by a story which has like three pseudo-intelligent social messages to tell.

You are completely wrong and uninformed, sorry to say that.
District 9 got 91% on rottentomatoes because of its social and historical background / metaphor but also for its brilliant action scenes.
And this movie does barely explain the aliens, it just tells them as "they are just there" and nothing special like in most other SciFi films.

Inception got 87% but the movie explained everything inside its rules and the characters and story do not have any social background or higher use.

Legacy got 49% because the social aspects did not fit into the movie the way they were told to the audience. Bridges' character and lines are full of social messages. But these scenes flattened the speed of the film which made it feel like Blade Runner.
Blade Runner got 92%.

So there is something, Legacy obviously made completely wrong if even the '82s original got 67% fresh.

They don't have any China numbers for TL yet, and from what I gather it can take a couple of months for that data to become available. The last data they had was for the week Dec 13-19.
