My amazon mp3 download experience was weird as well. It wanted me to download some program. I did so and waited for my tracks. I ended up hitting the back button, reinstalled the program only to be taken to a step where I could download an unrelated sample song for $.99. Finally, I got to a screen where my 23 tracks began to download and shortly after I got an e-mail showing that I had only paid $3.99. Yeah, it's Olivia as Quorra, but in the style of the video that's closer to the original TRON iconography.

THIS has got to be the shortest soundtrack music video ever on MTV ?
Regardless i'm happy Daft Punk pays tribute to the original TRON's asthetics.
The Quorra cameo was an excellent nod to Legacy.
Please Disney, don't leave this music video off the Bluray / DVD release
of TRON Legacy !

I thought it was interesting that Olivia's character was red then turned blue at the end. I wonder if this has anything to do with Rinzler and Tron.

Maybe, a copy of herself. Tron might get close to Clue by going undercover as Rinzler and derezing a copy of himself.
It would be sweet if Daft Punk came out with videos for all the tracks telling a parallel story to Tron Legacy. Kind of like Interstella 5555.

NICE!!!!!! The animal cycles was a bit weird, but CREATIVE - however, the "robot bird"???? reminded me too much of the Decepticon Laserbeak. However, I did like all the references to the original TRON movie, and the lightcycles transforming from lightcycles to horses, thereby transforming the gamegrid to a jousting grid was pretty creative. Gotta admit - while I still cling to Wendy Carlos' original score, the more and more I hear of Daft Punk, I'm starting to like their music. Thanks, World out West. In retrospect, the old trailers for the first Tron film SUCK. As much I love the original movie, I can even see some ways that it could be re-cut, but at the same time, I'll say that many of today's generation is stricken with what I call the ADD/Fast Edit syndrome - anything that doesn't have breakneck, quick edits is dismissed as boring.
Got my pre-ordered TRON EVOLUTION yesterday (was only play a few minutes, though), and only 9 more days!!!!!! I feel like that blown-away 9-year old back in 1982 all over again!

In the TRON: THE BETRAYAL comic book, they show Tron with the exact same black suit that Rinzler would later wear - only difference is the circuitry color.

Let's just say that there are things put in on the sneak tip, that those who watch closely can pick up on. Except this video wasn't directed by or conceptualized by Steven Lisburger, it was made by Warren Fu, who inserts 80s styles and references into many of his videos as a hallmark.
Olivia Wilde's appearance in the video is for promotional/tie-in purposes. It doesn't even look like she's playing Quorra (look at the hair).

I still say that she's Quorra in the older style. The visuals are a hybrid, and she's no exception. If they didn't intend the strong connection, they could've gotten anybody. Olivia Wilde as a wistful grid warrior without the black wig is still certainly Quorra, just not Legacy Quorra.

I say she's just Olivia Wilde in a music video that has something to do with a movie she's in.
Musicians do this stuff all the time for soundtracks.
You're treating this as canon and it's not even close, dude. Think about it...what the hell are Daft Punk doing breaking into a video arcade in a lousy part of LA after sunset?
Why does she change colors at the end of the video? BECAUSE IT LOOKS COOL.
