I've been really pleased and impressed with the music so far myself. As far back as the concept trailer I've really liked the direction they are going with it. It seems to have such weight and gravitas to it. I get chills sometimes
In the Tron Night footage some of the music as they go into the disc wars has a really interesting mix of the orchestral sound and old video game bloops and bleeps. I wouldn't have thought that mix would work, but I really like it.
On the other hand, the full track they released the other day is not really my cup of tea. It seems too much like something you'd hear at a techno dance club or something, and I've had a hard time reconciling it with the rest of the music we've heard. I expect it will work in the context of the movie, but right now I'm a bit baffled by it.
I’m definitely looking forward to the sound track in any case.

That's kinda how I felt about the track they released the other day. I could imagine it in the credits or something, but have a hard time picturing it elsewhere.

Man like I mentioned before, people have invested so much emotion waiting for this movie that as a byproduct very strong personal belief systems have been created. It is now reached the point that it is similar to trying politely discuss politics or religion at the family thanksgiving get together.

I can't garuntee about the beard, but everything I've seen or heard with this film, points towards that he still had a beard since his involvement with the test photage. And we have seen him with his beard in some of the photo's that were released during mid movie shooting, showing he still has the beard. He's even said that when shooting for Clu, he would have this headgear on and would interact with the other actors, So I don't believe he shaved it just for the CGI capture of his face. I've even looked around to see if I can find more sufficient evidence, but not finding much on the technology or someone explaining how they did it, it's become a theory now.

That's about the same thing I said, but you've explained it in better detail. I had watched the 2010 "ComiTron" photage though, but saw the same manerisms in his face with the 3D photage.

Just making a point that we don't know how Jeff's face was fully captured and CGI'd, but it's still Impressive that they can do something like that now in these times. But overall, I'm still in excitement to see this movie, and can't wait to be amazed by all the graphics used in the movie.

By the way, are you sure that's old pop corn? I don't think Alan's popcorn would have survived even a day at encom. :P And cheers to (and with) Dr. Pepper!
