I just posted new TRON: LEGACY footage on the home/main page: Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) is rescued by Quorra (Olivia Wilde) from a light cycle battle -- and rides off in Quorra's light runner vehicle towards Kevin Flynn's (Jeff Bridge's) "Safe House" (if you look and listen real closely - you can see Quorra's full covering, opaque helmet retracting at the beginning of this footage). - Jay

Very cool! Although I think this is the last footage I'm going to view. I feel like I'm seeing too much! I do have to say I hope the film doesn't end up being too murky visually. I love everything I've seen of the look so far... just a bit worried how it'll look through the darker IMAX glasses. I'm sure they're compensating for this.
I just heard that the "real world" scenes are in 2D and then it's 3D in the digital world. Not sure how I feel about that.

Hey Jonwes, I just got back from the sneak preview screening and I thought the colors were very bright and vibrant with the glasses on. Of course, the digital world environment is supposed to be dark, but it wasn't murky or "tinted-looking". Even the real world scenes looked well-lit, not tinted or dark. The transition from the 2D real-world to the 3D digital world was very dramatic and just incredible. It really heightened the impact of the transition, at least to me. Exactly! Watching the embedded video Jay posted above, the same scene was featured in the sneak preview. At the sneak preview, during one scene in particular, the part where the Light Runner goes sharply around the corner as it makes it way up the mountain, the lit-up edges of the Light Runner were bright and clear with the glasses on. Watching the same scene on the embedded video, it's much dimmer and flat. The luminance just isn't there. So I can see how you would be concerned after watching the embedded video. But from my point of view, the clarity and luminance of the sneak preview was fantastic. There's just no comparison. So I wouldn't worry. I think TRON: Legacy will not disappoint when it comes to all it's glowing goodness! LOL!

Yeah, add me to those vouching for the clarity of the scenes. At Tron Night, this clip looked extremely wonderful up on the screen. Of course, the scene that followed was even more gripping, but I'll leave that for the spoiler space in another thread. This movie looks, sounds, and feels awesome. I even want to say the trailers have not been fully doing it justice, since they don't capture neither the 3D nor the scope of the visuals.
Why use Norton AV or AVG to protect your computer when you could be using TRON instead!?
