I'm glad to hear this comic is so awesome. I plan on waiting until the trade paperback is released in November, but I couldn't help but be entirely puzzled by that spoiler you posted. I've yet to hear of that term, but then again, maybe it is better if I don't if it's integral to the film? Oh well. I suspect this issue is only build-up to the eponymous "betrayal" in the next one. THAT should be quite a revealing read.

There are two kinds. There is one from Disney which is one volume that will be sold and there is another one from Marvel which will be in two parts. Depending on which one you got over there Websteria.

For anyone wondering, I did some research and found out that part 2 and the full graphic novel (which is parts one and two) come out on November 16th.

I might just get the full graphic novel so I can read both parts as one continuous story. If I have extra cash on me I'll probably get the separate comic, as well.

I just got the first one of the two part series. I had the feeling that the full issue and part two might come later one. I will still be picking up those two over here as well. And take a look at some of those transformer comic he had today as well. Since I like the original transfers series.

THis issued I found was an interesting for the betrayal. For the others I am not going to reveal anything but leave it up to your interpretation.

Issue 1 was good but Marvel did screw the pooch because if you look at one page of Flynn going to the hospital and the calendar next to the nurse says April 1983. The problem is that it conveys that Clu 2.0 was created on that year, but in the timeline that was established on the ENCOM website that most of us saw briefly states Clu was cloned in 1989. I know for a fact I saw this online the Encom International site before they took that tidbit down a year ago.

The problem is which is supposedly considered canon? The Marvel version of the graphic novel prequel OR the apparent timeline determined by the Tron sector fans here?

Technically ENCOM shouldn't know Flynn even created a "Clu 2.0" since Flynn did that on the hidden away computer system in Flynn's hidden room at the Arcade. The ARG website may have timeline errors just as Disney's official webiste has detail errors that conflict with facts established in the original movie.

Though, I would assume that Tron:Betrayal is most likely more cannonical than 42 Entertainments's ARG related Encom website... abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

On the flipside, most of the reviews I've seen have been rather positive, including one glowing review on Youtube by some comic book fellow that simultaneously showed a few scenes from the comic book. All agree that the book builds interest for the upcoming film, and that is probably really good news.

I do have one question for those that have the comic. Is it explained why Shaddox doesn't look like Flynn although Flynn wrote him? Flynn did create him, right? After all, the timeline at the Disney site says Shaddox was the first new program Flynn wrote after his adventures in "Tron".

I kinda agree, Mayorcan. There are some people who are able to pick up things without referencing the original. But for those that can't, I have the following sentiment : one thing that continually pisses me off about some of these reviews and mindsets is, "Well, we have to 'bring in' the 'new generation' ". Question for so-called 'new generation' (and let me make this clear - I'm not lumping all of the new generation into one monolithic group): why is it that some of you can't just do some RESEARCH on the original source material? Wow. I guess I blame the public school system, LOL!!!!!!!

I remember research skills being taught to me when I was in the early grades of school (I was born in '73) and it seems that public schools have gotten away from that, to some degree - even when it comes to searching for things on the internet now.
