Wow! I just got a phone call from Disney about the diecasts/website mix-up!
They wanted to know if I was okay with what I ordered even though it wasn't what I ordered. I was like, "Yeah, no biggie."
I'm just surprised that they called me. o_O

I just got off the phone with Disney as well. They resent the same lightcycles out to me, not the deluxe. He tried to sell me on the deluxe light cycle, only $18, no thanks.. I did get a $5 gift card, not too shabby. I also notified them about their ebay listing had the same error.

Some of the Clu's Lightcycle Diecasts are more of a peachy color than others that are the normal yellow.
They are a little yellower than the Sentry ones, but still orangy.
Anyone else notice this?

just got off the phone with the Disney Store with full intensions of blasting them (got the diecast also) As soon as the cast member looked up my order and saw the light cycles I heard a big sigh I asked her how many people have called about these she said she lost count. She connected me straight to a manager. The manager said I could keep the diecast (her exact words were I could donate them) She also said she would credit me the 13.50 for the diecast towards my actual vehicles and free shipping. So I figure it this way. I got the three light cycles and the free diecast with free shipping. I can handle that.
*edit for spelling and really bad grammar Thats what I get for posting right before bed time LOL)*

I went to Wal Mart today and they had some of the toys. The diecasts, 3 3/4 inch figures, deluxe figures and light cycles were on the shelves. I like the deluxe Clue and Sam figures.
They did not have the 12 inch figures or the disks.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I don't think I've ever been compelled to join a forum out of pure rage before today! Nothing anyone here did of course. I just needed to vent to people that could feel my pain. In short, the deluxe Clu light cycle has turned me into a raving lunatic!
I've been to no less than 9 Walmarts over the past 3 days. Never mind all the driving, I've been collecting toys for 20 years, I'm used to the constant disappointment of the daily toy run. What's killing me is not knowing where I'm supposed to be looking! How does a company offer an exclusive item to a retailer when said retailer lists it (well they don't, but they list the rest of the Tron stuff there) as "Not Sold In Stores", yet turns around and sells it in stores, anyway?! Certain stores? "Toy centric" stores?! What the hell does that even mean? More importantly, do these "toy centric" Walmarts know they are toy centric? Uhhh, nope!
In addition to all the road rage, I've also spent HOURS on the phone with every Walmart within a 60 mile radius. You know what it's like to try to explain to someone that doesn't give a crap, that you are "looking for a line of toys called Tron Legacy"? This five minutes of awkwardness is then followed by many more minutes of hanging on the line for someone to go look for you. Half the time they don't even come back! You may just be waiting there forever...
That's forever to me. I don't even talk to mom that long! They don't even have music when they put you on hold!
Now, let's assume they actually did have TL toys on the shelf. What am I supposed to ask then? If they have the Deluxe version of the Clu Lightcycle that's next to Sam's light cycle, but still says "Sam's light cycle" on the box. No, no, not the diecast ones. Yes, I know there's a Clu...No, not the remote control ones either, these a.... o_O
You get the point.
Anyway, like I said, I've been around this block before. I know how frustrating it can be, but it's one thing driving all over the state, going down the toy aisle, flipping through the Star Wars pegs for the newest wave then heading to the next stop when you come up dry, but to roll up not even knowing if there is a section just plain sucks. In all my years of collecting I've never had to resort to scalpers. Through perseverance I've always found what I was looking for. Sure, I may have spent more in gas then what it would have cost to buy it straight out on eBay, but hunting is half the fun. Maybe I'm just getting too old, but this is anything but.

In the Wal Mart I was in (Cortland NY) They did have the electronic Clu light cycle. It looks like the Sam cycle but it lights up yellow. The slug figure on top is slightly different also. It came in the box with the 3D effect (two eye holes) on the bottom.
I wish wish wish toy companies would just make toys for all stores and in enough quantities for everybody. Afetr all most toy buyers are kids. releasing limited supplies in certain stores and areas just encourages speculators and artifically increases the value of these toys.

I wasn't giving up. And I totally realize this is just the beginning. My post was more sarcasm than actual disgust, but still, if Tron toys are only gonna be at these random Walmarts. that Clu LC is gonna be hell to track down.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding? Will all Walmarts eventually carry TL stuff and just these "toy centric" stores are getting stock early or am I correct in assuming the majority of stores will never carry the line at all? If the former is true, then I'll just wait a month and get one then.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Saw an ad for the toy line today on TV.
It looked like a 90's Hot Wheels commercial combined with the world of Tron Legacy.

Sorry to hear your loss however you need to get a life. & I don't mean that in a bad sense. I know what you mean/feel as I too am I collector. the internet is your friend and if you know where to look then you'll find what you seek. Obviously your perseverance is not working to your advantage but if you just hang in there a bit more, HOPEFULLY something will come about otherwise feebay will answer your call or a simple convention will. Now I know this may be harsh but it's reality & you will eventually have to use feebay to get what you won't because said store doesn't have their planogram set for these items, they simply might not stock the items or will put them up when you least expect it. It's happened to me when i was trying to get a hold of a few things in the past & more recently when i had cancelled a pre-order 1 hour prior to deadline. It's a pain in the ass yes but what can you do? I had to do this with walmart & finally despite having the set cut in their toy dept I had to visit every day after work during night time. Next thing i know they put up the merch the day i was moving & found none other than the reg. stuff however when i went to another fartmart, low & behold I found 4 of what you are trying to find. All in all, good luck & again, this is not meant to piss you but rather make you realize that not ALL collectors get what they want, we just have to manage to find work arounds.

I talk to one of the admins here quite frequently, and from him I know that people have almost been banned for starting fights on public boards.
Telling someone that they need to get a life, regardless of how it's intended to be interpreted by the other person, will ALWAYS start a fight on the internet. You really shouldn't do that unless you're looking for a fight. It's Internet Etiquette 101.

AGREED.
I'm a mod on 3 other sites, and if I were one here this nameless guy would have been gone by now. Like I mentioned before, nothing but negativity. The mods have already been informed.
Anyways, let's try and keep this thread about the toys.

No harm done. I don't really have a life, anyway. It's alright though, my wife, daughter, and both friends love me regardless.
Thanks for the welcome TRON.dll :-)
So, back to toys. Is anyone army building any of Clu's troops? I was thinking about getting multiple Sentries and Black Guards, but the TRU's around here are pretty much just left with the Flynns and a couple Rinzler's and I refuse to pay Target or Disney Store prices.
