I have been a long time lurker of this site and decided to join.

Maybe someone can clarify a few things about the latest trailer.

1. When Bridges is talking to his son at the beginning. Does anyone notice his voice? I am guessing that this takes place around 1989, but why does his voice sound like the current Jeff Bridges, at the age of today? Sounds like Crazy Heart. Then they show the CG face walking out the door. BTW, had NO idea this was CG, I thought it was another fantastic make-up job.

2. Sam is seen upside down, face to face with an opponent. I read somewhere that this is a character named "Rinzler", if it is, then why does he have the "T" Tron logo on his chest?

Interesting theory, Mr. Sinistar. One question I have though, is since TRON wasn't the only program in the original TRON with that T-shaped formation on his chest, what is the function of said T-shaped formation? I mean, is it just a regular part of a program's circuits, or does it function like a heart in a human, by pumping energy to all the other circuits in a program's body?

Personally, IF Tron Legacy borrows from what seems to be the plot of the TRON Evolution game, I think that maybe Rinzler may be a grafted mutated copy of Tron - maybe Tron and Clu 2.0 had a battle, Tron got damaged badly and went into hiding, and then Clu extracted some of Tron's code and made Rinzler from it. We'll see. One thing Rinzler and Tron have in common is that they are the best warrior in all the system. I wonder if there'll be a scene in Tron Legacy like this. . .

INT. VIRTUAL WORLD - GAME GRID

SAM FLYNN is led into a chamber in chains, along with CONSCRIPT PROGRAMS, by fierce RED GUARDS. The Guards lead them, much like a Prison Guard marching prisoners out onto a prison yard, to a platform housing THE GAME GRID - a lethal, gargantuan coliseum-like structure where programs are forced to fight for their digital lives - or be derezzed into nothingness.

As Sam and ANOTHER PROGRAM are marched to the platform to take their places, they stop and stare. . .

It still bothers me, sounds like old 2010 Jeff Bridges.

Also the toys in the trailer on Sam's shelf, will those be released for sale?

One of the notes on the big poster thing says, "Awaiting reponse code 4/17/89". Interesting. And the poster is titled, "The Grid" (marked at the top)

Someone might need to go into Photoshop and mess with the contrast, brightness, saturation, etc. to see if they can get more text pops out of these photos. I'd do it, but don't have the time currently.

Awesome Photos! Love the details. Talk about rare sdcc Tron stuff, I would love to have that long sheet of 'the grid' hanging in my room. I brought the photos into PS and adjusted some levels.
