Why did Sark and a "conscript" program were running for their lives on the LightCycles game at the very beginning of TRON 1 if Sark is part of the ENCOM mainframe?
How could he "teleport" himself inside an ARCADE GAME ????????????? o_O
My theory is that the "Sark" you see playing in the Arcade game is a new program reflecting Ed Dillinger's personality (and face). Well, maybe Dilliger made some modifications in the Space Paranoids writing, and so a copy of him has been formed inside the game.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

I was under the impression Sark relished the challenge and knew that he would win, his dialogue with MCP afterwards reflects that.

I believe it was meant to be the Sark we all know from the Encom Mainframe. In the world of the movie the game could have had a "network" capability that they didn't mention, much like some of today's arcade games. If not, maybe the MCP can send binary data down powerlines directly into machines. Who knows, the MCP was also Artifically Intelligent enough to blackmail his users so anything is possible.

The original Tron predicted a lot of technological advancements such as the internet as we know it today (to an extent, Flynn hacking the Encom mainframe from his home is a good example). It could be that one of Tron's predictions was wireless internet networking.
Assuming this, my theory is as follows:
The lightcycles and space paranoids games at Flynn's (and possibly most of the other games there) are linked to each other and the Encom mainframe. When Flynn is initially rezzed in by the digitizing laser, he is in the Encom server, where the prisoner holding cells are. The prisoners are taken from the holding cells in the Encom server to one of the arcade games (whether it be at Flynn's or another arcade somewhere). So, assuming this, the lightcycle grid is the inside of the lightcycles arcade game, the disc battle game is inside of another, and so on. Based on this theory, when Flynn drives through the hole in the wall, him, Tron, and Ram are all driving back to the Encom server. It could be that a computer and all of its connections are portrayed as one massive, endless landscape in the Tron world.
Either that or it's a plot hole.

He wasn't running for his life, he was the conqueror, the MCP's champion.
"VOICE MCP:
You're getting brutal, Sark.
Brutal and needlessly sadistic.
The feet sockets glow and we see Sark absorbing the energy like a drug addict, eyes glazed.
SARK
Thank. you, Master Control.
MCP
We might be capturing some military
programs soon.
SARK
Sure, I'd love to go up against some of these
guys ... be a nice break from these
accounting creampuffs you keep sending
me. Which branch of the service?
MCP
Strategic Air Command.
SARK (impressed)

There's this concept called "Suspension of disbelief".... I mean you are after all watching a movie about glowing anthropomorphic computer programs.

Was the MCP babbling about "putting" Sark in a pocket calculator as punishment? That kinda suggested there was some type of program transfer involved.
So there's a chance Sark and the conscript were "teleported" in the Arcade. Literally.
OR they were running in the game grid inside the ENCOM mainframe and the "parallelism" with the Arcade was just a mere artistic license from Lisberger's part. After all, the idea of a human user at Flynn's "piloting" the conscript doesn't truly make sense.

I always saw it as two separate and unrelated things - a guy playing a lightcycles game in an arcade, and Sark fighting against other programs inside the Encom system. The way the two shots are cut together is just to highlight how these videogames being played in an arcade are happening in "real life" inside every computer. But that's just how I interpreted it.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineorder abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

That's my point too.
The "pocket calculator" quote is just one of the ways MCP fools Sark, who is not as much intelligent as the MCP.
