One of the orbs near Flynn's safehouse in the new TRON site "lightcycle game" states that Kevin Flynn also coded that chess program and ended giving it all its "functions"...
Lemme tell you, someone's messing with what we knew was TRON canon...
You need to check out the COMPLETELY UNOFFICIAL TRON TIMELINE!
Meanwhile in the real world... the controller feeds the shift clock to the VRAM's video port. Each shift clock pulse causes the VRAM to deliver the next datum, in strict address order, from the shift-register to the video port... Next frame-buffer data: Who created users?

The lightcycle aspect of the official site really makes me optimistic about the TRON Evolution game.
About lightcycles in the official site, I've only been around the Safe House, but it seems you can accidentally fall into an area of the environment and not be able to get out. (As far as I've seen.) You get boxed in, have to leave lightcycles and go back in.
Oh well...It still ROCKS!
Edit: I found if you follow the energy orbs, you'll find the Safe House without any trouble.

BTW, there are street signs right there...Do look at what the street is named.

Besides me, does this site tax the hell out of anyone else's system? I have a P4 3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, but a mediocre video card. Under IE8 it takes forever to go from exploring the area to riding a light cycle, and it skips the directions. Firefox does OK, but in either browser after about 30 min. on, it pretty much becomes unplayable and takes forever to navigate. It also takes up 300+ MB of RAM. Not only that, sometimes the light cycle are easily controlled and sometimes it careens off at a 90 degree angle with the touch of the arrow key. It took me nearly 3 hours and I only found 51 orbs. Yeah, I found that area too! LOL! Same result, had to leave lightcycles and go back in. There was also an area around the End Of Line club where I ended up wedging the lightcycle vertically between the ceiling and the ground. There was an energy orb in there. I got it and a few minutes later, got my lightcycle wedged up in there pointing straight up. Don't ask me how. It looked pretty funny, but again, I had to quit and re-start. All in all, it's pretty fun. That is, until it taxes my system so much, it becomes unplayable...oh well. I'm happy though...it's TRON!!

I have the same problem! Core 2 Duo 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS (256 MB) video card and it slows my system to a crawl after about a half hour! I open the Task Manager and my page file usage will be up to nearly 2GB! I finally gave up after several tries of re-starting the game. But it's definitely fun within those 30 minutes or so!

So how come Jordan winds up as Yori's user? How does she get Sark and the MCP as Enemies? Lots of backstory here that needs to be told. Or is it all a red herring, notice how Amy Esterle looks an awful lot like a 1980's era Cindy Morgan. What did Flynn do, use the laser to make copy of Lora?

I saw the same thing in the online game, too. Are they trying to ret-con Tron?
I don't want to say anything to rile up the board, but it's possible Yori's user was Jordan and Lora wrote another program. When Flynn returned to the real world, he must've asked Alan and Lora who wrote Yori (after he smooched her in the end and they have only met from the Solar Sailer).
EDIT: Unless Lora turned over the program to Jordan to upgrade and improve on, while the former got promoted to other departments. Who knows?

I'm now in the camp of the "sloppy webmaster" idea.
The information of the "Classic CLU" on the non-flash site is a cut/paste of CLU 2.0.
Furthermore, the placement of the Dr. Laura Baines hotlink is in the exact location of the Jordan Canas link on their respective pages.
As for the Rinzler/RAM connection, I'm thinking it's more of a screwup than real info. It had me excited for a bit (pun intended).
We'll see. It certainly would be cool.

Well, if this is a screw up, then the powers to be that runs Tron Sector should contact Disney to get their attention and RECTIFY it or be sent to the GAMES. Otherwise, their reaction might be interesting.
