I was wondering this too so i called propaganda games and the guy on the phone asked Chris Whiteside(the design director) himself and said that all the costumes that retail stores are offering will be available as public DLC a few weeks after the game comes out..but if u want a specific costume right when u get the game then you would have to get it from the particular store....

I don't have much time to play games but this is certainly one I want to pick up. A few questions:

(1) Does DLC mean Down Loadable Character? I don't see it spelled out anywhere and it appears to also apply to down loadable maps in the first post.

(2) My boys want a PS3 for Christmas. So should I get the PS3 version or the PC version? Again I don't get many games but in the past the PC versions offered the most flexability and highest resolution. I'm guessing the PS3 might change that. Or will they be essentially identical?

(3) With the movie coming out in 3D and the availability of 3D TVs and 3D computer monitors these days does anyone know if this game will have 3D capabilities? It would seem very appropriate.

if u get a 3D TV, and TRON EVOLUTION for PS3, you will be able to play the game in 3D and if u and you and your kids want to experience the game together than perhaps PS3 is the way to go since that's what they want for Christmas

No, that won't change. The PC version always has the highest resolution. The console versions run at 1280x720 which are then blown up to fit a 1080p screen. Even at 1280x1024 you're running at a higher resolution. There's also the possibility of maps and mods made by the community, while on consoles you will never be able to change the game in any way and are stuck with whatever Disney releases.

The PS3 version makes a point of advertising it, but the PC version will also have it. Of course, in both cases, you need special glasses and a TV or monitor that supports it. Either way, it costs a significant amount extra.
